Best Locations to Find Cordyceps:
1. Emil’s Brick School
A grove can be found within the school grounds.
2. Silo Safehouse
Close to the bicycle icon on the map.
3. Recreation Island Tower
Near the tower, a grove spawns Cordyceps.
4. Raymond’s Rest
Check the outdoor areas for the grove of Cordyceps.
5. Old Town
Building Marked ‘H’ – Go to the top of the building, in the barn-like area, where Cordyceps spawn.
Tip: There are two buildings marked ‘H’ in Old Town. Use the one above the other ‘H’.
Tips for Farming Cordyceps
Cordyceps respawn in groups of 3 pieces at a time. You may check every day or leave and come back to the game for respawn. There is also the option of purchasing Cordyceps from the merchant in Old Town but totally depends on your player level.
Oxidizers Locations
Oxidizers are a rare resource used to craft advanced weapon mods like flamethrowers. Oxidizers are rarer than Cordyceps and they can only be farmed at certain places.
Best Locations to Find Oxidizers:
1. Apartment Buildings & Specialist Dark Zones
Apartments will often have mixed crafting items, including Oxidizers, and Specialist Dark Zones will reveal higher percentages of rare drops.
2. Dark Zone – Pharmacy (Old Town)
The pharmacy is the ideal destination due to the presence of chemical-related loot. Oxidizers can spawn in several places: on the right side of the pharmacy, on the middle shelving units, and behind the front counter and sometimes in the locked room. Each run will provide 1-4 Oxidizer; this entirely depends on the loot table for your game.
3. Mega Store America
Primarily an electronics and luxury goods store, but Oxidizers have a small chance to spawn.
