In the mission “Out of the Shadows” in ARC Raiders, you need to eliminate a Rocketeer. It is a tough battle that tests your shooting skill, aiming, and strategies. In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know, from preparing your gear to finding the Rocketeer’s location and safely bringing it down for the quest item.
Out of the Shadows Quest Guide
The “Out of the Shadows” quest will be given to you by Shani. The main task for you in this case is to track and kill a Rocketeer. After you have killed it, do not forget to loot its body, as you’ll need a Rocketeer Driver; this is the item that you will need to complete the quest. You will get 3 Surge Shield Rechargers and 2 Wolfpacks for completing the quest.
Before starting the “Out of the Shadows” quest, make sure you’re well-stocked on heavy ammo. Bring as much as you can, and stash some in your safe pocket just in case. Grenades are also a must-have.
Finding the Rocketeer
Make your way to the Testing Annex Building located on the Dam map. You can climb to the top floors using the main stair or ladders. After reaching the top, destroy all turrets and ARC units in the area to take control of the location. This upper room will be your base because when the Rocketeer arrives, you’ll have cover.
Taking Down the Rocketeer
If you see the Rocketeer outside, shoot it in order to attract its attention. Then fire a few shots, hide and then repeat. In case you attack its thrusters or the fans on its sides, it will break down and fall down making it easier to kill.
The Rocketeer Driver should be taken from its body once destroyed to complete the quest objective. Don’t forget to grab any extra parts from the thrusters, as they’re useful for crafting and upgrades.
