In the Lay of the Land quest, Shani, the head of security, sends you out to gather important intel from the Spaceport area in ARC Raiders. Your goal is to track down a few key items: shipping notes from the Jiangsu Warehouse and a LIDAR Scanner from Control Tower A6. Once you have collected everything, make it back safely and deliver the items to Shani to finish the mission.
Lay of the Land Quest Guide
Shani, the head of security, will give you a mission called Lay of the Land in ARC Raiders. It’s a simple quest. This mission takes place in the Spaceport area, and you will be visiting a few key locations.
Find Shipping Notes in the Foreman’s Office
Once you deploy to the topside of the Spaceport map, head to the Jiangsu Warehouse on the far west side, between the Water Towers and the Fuel Depot. Go inside through the western entrance, then climb the stairs on your right. At the top, turn right again to reach the Foreman’s Office. Inside, you will see a desk with a folder on it. Interact with the folder to collect the Shipping Notes.
Find Scanners in the Control Tower A6
After grabbing the notes, make your way to Control Tower A6, which is near the center of the map, close to the Launch Tower. You don’t need a key for this tower since the quest item isn’t at the very top. You can reach the upper floor either by using the zipline or by taking the stairs.
Once you’re upstairs, turn right, walk past the zipline, and take another right at the corner. You will find a folder on a desk, interact with it to pick up the LIDAR Scanner. You can store it in your safe pocket before extraction; that way, the quest will still count as complete even if you die before escaping.
Deliver the Items to Shani
