Israel Hands Full Moveset Breakdown
Hands is an agile boss, he’s swift and he has a spectral image to aid his attacks. Lets take a look at his moveset and break them down each one by one.
Basic Attack Pattern
Hands has 2 basic combos, one is a 3-hit combo and the other one is a 5-hit combo. And all these combos can be countered, and if you nail the counter timing – resulting in a perfect counter, you’re going to stagger him very easily.
Spectral Image Attacks
Hands has a unique skill where he calls upon his spectral image to aid him in battle by using a variety of attacks.
Spectral Sword Attack
During the fight, while he uses his basic attack combo, he chains it with the spectral swing where he calls upon his spectral image which does a powerful swing and has quite a range. Make sure to dodge right before the attack lands. Since it’s a diagonal attack, you can evade the attack if you dodge to the right. You can identify which attack the spectral is going to use by looking at its weapon, and in this case if the spectral image is holding a sword then it’s going to use the swing attack.
Spectral Gun Attack
In this attack, he calls upon his spectral image which shoots at you using a gun. It’s pretty easy to dodge this attack, keep an eye on the projectile and you should be fine.
Spectral Rush Attack
Hands calls upon his spectral, then takes a stance to do a thrust attack. The spectral image holds a spear like weapon for this attack. Do not dodge backwards, always dodge sideways whenever you see this attack coming, and also this attack leaves a trail behind which is poisonous, so make sure not step on it.
Spectral Projectiles
Hands will shoot spectral projectiles aimed towards you, you can dodge them just by sprinting away from them but there’s a chance for you to get hit by 1 or 2 projectiles.
Spectral Surge
I have no idea what this attack is called, so I just named it spectral surge. His spectral image does a AOE whirlpool kind of attack, during this attack the spectral won’t be holding any weapons.
Rewards – Soul Eater Weapon
After you’ve defeated Hands, you can claim the Soul Eater sword from the ancient chest in the boss arena. This is a great sword considering its damage output and its an item level 8.
Israel Hands is swift but staggering him is pretty easy, you need to be fast when countering his attacks.
