The Infinite Room puzzle in Doom: The Dark Ages can be a bit tricky to find. This secret area is hidden on the far right side of the map. After completing this, you will find a Gold Cache that you can use to upgrade your weapons or unlock new powers for your melee weapons or shield. Here’s how to get there step by step.
Infinite Room Puzzle Solution in Doom: The Dark Ages

Make your way to the far right side of the map. Go through the gate and follow the path. After you complete a full loop, turn around and keep going; you’ll find the secret area just ahead. To find the secret area, make sure you fully go around the curve so that the entrance is completely out of sight before you turn back. The Infinite Room has one Gold Cache. You can use the gold you find to upgrade your weapons or unlock new abilities for your melee weapons or shield.
From the secret area, exit the area through the portal. Head forward and then to the right you’ll spot a small wall you can climb, with four gold pieces visible on top. This path leads to a closed gate. Go left and look up, and you’ll see two stacks of gold above you. Throw your shield at the blue eye and go back to the small wall with the four gold pieces. The gate will be open now, and you can collect the two stacks of 8 gold each.
