Signposts in Where Winds Meet last a bit over two days, but can be reinforced with Timber to extend their duration. You can get signposts either by buying them or by crafting them. Once crafted, you can place a signpost anywhere. In this guide, we will show you how to use Signpost in Where Winds Meet.
How to Use Signpost

You can get signposts in Where Winds Meet in two ways: buying them or crafting them. You can buy them from merchants. They cost 450 coins each, and you will find them from merchants like Wang’s Woodcraft or Hu Niu’er’s in Kaifeng City, and Xiong Da in Heaven’s Pier, Qinghe.

If you want to craft signposts, you will need 1 Raw Ore and 2 Timber, and you don’t even need a crafting station. Just open your Bag, click Craft, go to Manual, and you will see the signpost recipe right at the top.
To find Ore easily, open your Map, select the Herb icon, switch to Stones, pick any Ore type, and the game will show you all known locations. Raw Ore can be gathered from Ore veins. Timber comes from chopping down trees with a bladed weapon. Crafting a signpost uses 1 Stamina.
Now, you need to stand where you want it to go. Open your Bag, go to Items, then Common, select a signpost, and choose Place. You will get options to customise it. You can write a message, add a picture, choose an emote for its appearance, or enable Assist Invitations.

If you want to check your signposts, you need to open chat, then go to Notices, then My Signpost. Here, you will find all the signposts and their activity. Also, you can use Timber to increase its lifespan by 10 extra hours.
