How to Use Armory in Diablo 4 Season 7

With the release of Season 7, Season of Witchcraft, the Armory lets you save your current build, including equipped gear, socketed Gems or Runes, skill tree configuration, and Paragon Board with Glyphs, into a loadout. This makes it easy to store and switch between customized builds using the Armory menu. You can swap builds instantly by selecting a saved loadout and clicking the “Load” button, and the best part is, it’s completely free, no Gold or other resources needed. Each character has five loadout slots, so you can store multiple builds, and these loadouts are specific to each character, meaning changes to one won’t affect the others.

    Armory locations

The Armory, a feature returning from Diablo 3, lets you save and switch between different builds easily. When you save a build, it captures everything on your character, including your equipment, skill tree, Paragon boards, and glyphs, creating a copy that you can access anytime at an Armory. You can save up to five unique builds per character, giving you the flexibility to experiment with different items or quickly switch to the best build for any situation.

You can access the Armory in several places, including every major city, the Dark Citadel, the Training Grounds, and the Tree of Whispers. The Armory is marked on the map with an “eye” icon, so if you’re looking to switch your build, just keep an eye out for that icon as you explore.

    How to use the Armory

To use the Armory, you’ll just need to interact with it to open your menu, where your builds will appear on the left and your character on the right. To save a build, click on a slot in the Armory and hit “Save”, which will put your equipment, skills, class mechanics, Paragon boards, and glyphs inside that slot.

Any equipment used in that build will be marked as “favorited” and protected from being salvaged. If you want to save multiple builds, just switch to your desired loadout, and save it in a different slot. To switch builds, select a loadout and click “Load” — your build will update to match the selected loadout for free.

    Tips

    • Take full advantage of the Armory’s five loadout slots per character. This lets you store and quickly switch between multiple builds for different situations, whether you’re experimenting with items or optimizing for specific encounters.
    • When you save a build, anything you used during that build becomes “favorited” and will not be able to be salvaged. This prevents your important gear from being damaged when switching builds.
    • You can access the Armory at various locations, including every major city, the Dark Citadel, the Training Grounds, and the Tree of Whispers. Look for the “eye” icon on your map to easily find an Armory nearby.
    • Since each character can have five unique loadouts, you can build different characters for specific roles, playstyles, or game situations. Try various gear, skill, and glyph combinations to see what works best for you.
    • Remember that loadouts are character-bound, so changes made to one character’s loadouts will not affect others. This allows you to keep different builds for each character you play.
