How to Unlock the Frost Blast Field Upgrade
Frost Blast is a Field Upgrade in Black Ops 6 Zombies that creates a freezing storm around the player who activates it. The blast damages zombies in a circular area that weakens the farther out it goes. On top of that, the storm sticks around for a short time and slows enemies down.
Like other Field Upgrades, you can power up Frost Blast by spending Aetherium Crystals. Here’s what each upgrade tier does:
- Tier I – The storm lasts 3 seconds longer and keeps slowing enemies.
- Tier II – You can hold up to 2 charges at once.
- Tier III – The blast’s damage and radius are both doubled.
- Tier IV – Maximum charges go up to 3.
- Tier V – Regular zombies are frozen for 5 seconds and die instantly when hit.
To unlock Frost Blast, you’ll need to collect 20 Blaze Bucks during the Blaze of Glory event. In the second row choose the third box to claim your reward.
How to Get Blaze Bucks
Blaze Bucks are a special, limited-time currency used to unlock rewards during the Blaze of Glory event. You can get them by taking out enemies in multiplayer matches or by finding them in supply crates while playing Warzone. So, whether you’re fighting other players or looting crates, there are a couple of ways to collect them.
The quickest way to earn Blaze Bucks in Black Ops 6 Season 3 Reloaded is by playing the Multiplayer mode, especially the Hardcore Stakeout 24/7 playlist. It’s great for eliminations, and you can easily collect around 30 to 40 Blaze Bucks per match. Since you only need 255 Blaze Bucks to unlock everything in the event, playing this mode is your best bet to get it done fast.
Blaze of Glory Event Rewards in Black Ops 6 & Warzone
The Blaze of Glory event is live from May 6 to 15, and it’s the first Black Ops 6 event to include an animated weapon camo. If you’re trying to get all the rewards, make sure to collect those Blaze Bucks before the event ends.
