The Auxm Vision adaptation unlocks enhanced environmental scanning and reveals hidden alien language, a must have adaptation to progress the story. You obtain it from the Alien Comb after cleansing the bloom virus. Having this adaptation lets you understand alien structures and operate them. This guide shows where to find the bloom virus, how to cleanse them and obtain the adaptation.
Note : You need Feedback Resonator to cleanse Bloom Virus, if you don’t have the feedback resonator then check my guide on How to unlock Feedback Resonator.
Cleansing Bloom Virus
There are 3 bloom virus spots that you need to cleanse.
First Bloom Virus Location
To get to the first bloom infested area, head below towards west from the Alien Base and you should be able to spot the bloom area because it’s located just beside the alien base.
Then use the Feedback Resonator from a distance because these blooms close up when you get closer to them, hence the feedback resonator. You need to destroy 2 blooms in this area to cleanse it.
Second Bloom Virus Location
Head 120 east from the first bloom area and follow the purple roots as shown in the above image and you’ll reach the second bloom area.
The second bloom area also contains 2 blooms that need to be destroyed.
Third Bloom Virus Location
To get to the third bloom infested area, you need to reach the Angel Comb then proceed northeast until you reach the Metal Farms, then head up.
You’ll find a huge wreck site above, head inside the wreck and get to the lower levels through the broken walls.
You’ll eventually reach the 3rd bloom infested area, destroy the blooms and cleanse the area.
Obtaining Auxm Vision Adaptation
After cleansing the 3 bloom areas, return to the Angel Comb and destroy the blooms near the comb, this will cleanse the Angel Comb area.
Then interact with the Angel Comb to obtain the Auxm Vision adaptation. With this you’ll be able to understand and interact with alien structures.
