How to Find the Acasa Marshes Pillar Puzzle in Hell is Us
The Martial Lineage Mystery starts once you hit one of the pillars near the Vigil Training Grounds. To find them, you’ll need to head deep into the marshes. They’re pretty far from where you first enter, basically on the opposite side of the map, so getting there from Jova can be a bit of a trek. Keep going all the way northeast until you reach Monument Hill. There, you’ll spot a stone doorway with stairs leading into the hillside, and four pillars placed around it. That’s the spot you’ll use this area to complete the Martial Lineage Mystery.
How to Find the Clue for Acasa Marshes Pillar Puzzle
You’ll be able to solve this part of the Mystery after rescuing Victor from the tunnel. Once that’s done, you’ll get access to Vitalis’ house, but you’ll need to solve a small puzzle to reach his secret basement room. After you’ve cleared that, Victor will set up his blacksmith shop right across the street.
When the shop opens, head inside from the western entrance, the one where the APC is parked. On Victor’s workshop desk, you’ll see a glowing yellow item. Pick it up to get the Lymbic Sword and a Training Ground Note. The note itself isn’t required to find the Vigil Training Grounds or to complete the Martial Lineage Mystery, but it does tie into the story.
How to Solve the Acasa Marshes Pillar Puzzle
When you reach the Vigil Training Grounds, you’ll notice four pillars placed around the area. To open the door, you’ll need to strike them in the right order. The Mystery itself begins as soon as you hit the first pillar. If you make a mistake, don’t worry just hit all four pillars to reset them and try again.
The correct order is counter-clockwise, starting with the pillar in the northeast corner. From there, keep going around until you’ve hit all four. If you do it correctly, the pillars will stay glowing, and you’ll hear a heavy rumble as the door to the Training Grounds opens. That’s when the Martial Lineage Mystery is officially complete.
Acasa Marshes Pillar Puzzle Rewards
Once the door opens, head down the stairs and be sure to switch on your flashlight it’s pretty dark inside. In the room, you’ll find a handful of rewards waiting for you. There are two pieces of gear you can actually equip: the Rage Suppressor Weak and the Brooch of Terror – Dreadful Verve, which works as defensive gear. Alongside those, you’ll also come across a Wrapped Candle, which counts as a research item, a Letter titled “Proud Father,” and the highlight of the haul, the Lymbic Greatsword.
