The Focus in the Troll Canyon is a challenge tied to Milten’s plan in Chapter 3, where you must reach a broken path and retrieve the Focus Stone after dealing with the enemies and hazards around the canyon. This guide explains how to reach the focus stone in troll canyon, where to get telekinesis scroll and how to cross the bridge so that you can collect the focus stone and return to Saturas to continue the main storyline.
Opening the Gates
After you’ve dealt with the Adult Troll in the Troll Canyon, you need to open the gates into the ruins to reach the focus stone. Milten will help with opening the gates by pulling down one of the levers, while you have to pull down the other lever to activate the door mechanism and unlock it.
Telekinesis Scroll
After you enter the ruins, head to the small area shown in the above image, where you’ll find a chest inside which lies the telekinesis scroll – make sure to collect it before reaching the focus stone to save the backtrip to collect the scroll.
Reaching the Focus Stone
Once you reach the Focus Stone, you’ll immediately notice that the gap ahead is too wide to cross with a simple jump. Instead, you need to use your magic to restore the broken bridge. Equip your Telekinesis scroll and then activate it by aiming at the blue crystal as shown in the above image, this will restore the bridge. Keep in mind that the bridge restoration costs mana. After the bridge is fixed even slightly, you can cross it by jumping across and this time you’ll be able to make it over and reach the repaired section.
