How to Raid Alien Mothership in 99 Nights in the Forest

The Alien Invasion update in 99 Nights in the Forest shakes up the usual survival routine with crashing UFOs, alien encounters, and a looming mothership overhead. Surviving just got a lot more intense! This quick guide will walk you through on how to raid the alien mothership via teleportation, defeat alien enemies, and grab some powerful high-tech loot along the way. Ready to raid the skies?

Getting Things Started

To access the mothership, you’ll first need to survive the early days. On the third night, you’ll notice a strange alert about something flying above. Soon after, a loud crash confirms the aliens have arrived. Open your map to spot saucer icons; these mark the UFO crash sites. Head to these spots, defeat the alien guards, and grab whatever loot they’ve left behind.

Spotting the Right Ship (Mothership)

Not every UFO is useful, most are wrecked. But one of them will still be operational, and that’s the one you need. The working ship has a glowing yellow icon on your map, making it stand out from the rest. Approach with caution, two alien enemies will be guarding the site. Once you defeat them, explore the ship’s interior. At some point, you’ll spot an arrow on the ground, that’s your sign you’re getting close to something important.

Follow that arrow and you’ll find a teleporter inside the UFO. This device beams you directly to the Alien Mothership, but don’t rush in just yet. It’s a tough environment up there, so make sure you’ve stocked up on healing items and ideally, picked up a Raygun for some serious firepower.

Once aboard, you’ll quickly learn the place is on lockdown. Progress is blocked by high-tech doors that won’t open unless specific conditions are met. You’ll need to defeat elite alien enemies and drag their bodies over to nearby scanners to get past these barriers. It’s a bit grim, but it works.

What Can You Loot?

Here’s a quick look at what goodies you can walk away with:

  • Laser Sword – A powerful melee option with a cooldown. Far better than early-game weapons like the Spear.
  • Raygun – A fast-firing laser weapon with unlimited ammo. Ideal for the mothership’s intense fights.
  • Laser Fence Blueprint – Lets you build a futuristic defensive fence to protect your base.

Bring your best gear and don’t go alone if the game allows co-op. This is one of the toughest challenges in the update. Having the Raygun is practically essential for surviving the mothership, while the Laser Sword helps with close encounters, especially if you’re still dealing with cultists back in the forest.
