A Fresh Start Quest Guide
You will be accompanied by a Hernandian soldier to the next location. All you have to do is mount your horse and go with the soldier. When you get there, you need to talk to Marshal Middler to begin your quest “A Fresh Start.” Your next task is to help in completing the setup of the future Greymane hub. You will need to help the workers in completing their work in this area to complete setting up the camp.
How to Move the Sacks
First off, you will need to get close to the sacks, and you’ll need to press the focus button, which is the LB button on Xbox, the L1 button on PlayStation, and the control button on a PC. Once you do that, you will be able to collect the sack and move it to the marked spot. Once you reach the designated spot, you will then be able to press the right button to put the sack down. You will need to do the same thing to put the other two sacks in their designated spots.
Find and Use the Mallet
Then, you need to collect a mallet that is near the sacks. You need to focus on the mallet to collect it. Then, from your inventory, you need to equip the mallet. Once the mallet is equipped, you need to focus on the wooden stakes to hammer them in. The circle will turn blue when aiming correctly. You need to hammer each of the stakes in until they are fully in.
Push the Wagon
Before you move it, you have to first remove the stones on the road. In this case, you cannot use the mallet again. What you have to use now is the pickaxe, which you acquired earlier. Remove the stones by striking them with the pickaxe. After that, move towards the wagon and push it. Continue pushing it towards the designated area.
Raise the Banner
In order to do this, you can use a special skill on the banner. Once you have picked up the banner, you can focus on the banner stand. If you do not get the prompt, you can move closer to the banner stand. Once you have planted the banner, you can complete the quest. If the banner falls away or breaks for some reason, you can simply leave the area and come back again to reset the quest.
