Troilite is a rare essential resource which is used to craft Mangalloy Ingots. The primary spawn location sits deep beneath the Power Plant in the Metal Farm area. This zone is swarming with predators, so make sure to come prepared and bring along an extra portable storage container so that you can harvest as much as possible so that you don’t need to go on a second supply run.
Metal Farms Location
Once you reach the Angel Comb, proceed northeast from there and follow the purple roots until you reach a green glowing area – Metal Farm, as shown in the above second image.
Obtaining Troilite Resource
Then try to spot green crystals like the ones shown in the above picture. Use the sonic resonator to mine these crystals and you’ll obtain the Troilite resource. Make sure to harvest as much as possible because it’s an essential resource to progress the story and also saves you a second trip to this predator infested area.
Unlock Entangled Power Cell
When you obtain the Troilite resource, you’ll also unlock the recipe/blueprint to craft the Entangled Power Cell.
Crafting Entangled Power Cell
You can craft the Entangled Power Cell through the fabricator, resources needed to craft it are – conduit crystal, strong acid, gold ingot and troilite.
