In DOOM: The Dark Ages, you can find special gold chests hidden throughout the game. These chests give you gold, which are useful for upgrades and gear. Some chapters don’t have any gold chests, while others have one or more, hidden in secret spots. This guide will help you find all the gold chests in Chapters 5 – 7 (The Holy City of Aratum, Siege – Part 1 & 2).
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 5 (The Holy City of Aratum)
Chapter 5: The Holy City Of Aratum has 3 Gold chests. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect Gold chests in any order you like.

After descending into the hell carrier once again, ascend the stairs straight ahead and break through the wooden wall to reveal the secret area and a gold chest.

After you have eliminated every enemy, look to the right to see three gold. Follow this down a hole to the secret area, and directly ahead is the cultist circle. On the other side of the circle is an alcove containing eleven gold. To find a chest with the final 50 gold, swim through the pool of water beyond the circle.
3. Gold Chest
Locate the secret area, five gold, and a chest with 50 gold by going beneath the area.
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 6 (Siege – Part 1)
Chapter 6: Siege – Part 1 has 6 Gold chests. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect Gold chests in any order you like.
1. Gold Chest
Drop down by smashing through the next wall, then turn around to see a treasure chest.
2. Gold Chest
Go through the newly opened gate after obtaining the Chainshot weapon. A gold chest awaits you directly in front of you.
3. Gold Chest
A trail of 13 gold circles the road just outside; ascend the wall at its conclusion. The last hidden location is this one, which has a gold chest on the left.

A Vargary demon is guarding the Gold chest defeat it, then open the chest.

There is a secret pool of water further south that is encircled by two lights. To locate a hidden location with a gold chest, swim all the way to the opposite side.
6. Gold Chest
Head back to the bridge, then run and jump across. Pull the lever, jump down, and go right through the gate that just opened, you’ll see a Gold chest right out in the open.
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 7 (Siege – Part 2)
Chapter 7: Siege – Part 2 has 1 Gold chest. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect Gold chests in any order you like.

Climb the wall and the old crate, then turn around to climb another wall, which leads to the secret area and a gold chest.
2. Gold Chest
To find a gold chest, enter the newly created opening to the left of the wall you previously climbed.
