Early access players of Path of Exile 2 believe Titan’s Treasure is bugged due to its absence in Titan’s Grotto. In the second act of Path of Exile 2, players explore Titan’s Grotto, the same area where they will battle Zalmarath, the Colossus boss.
Those who venture off the main path may come across optional objectives and Points of Interest that enrich the experience. However, players have noticed that one specific item is missing from the map, contrary to expectations.
This guide will help you locate the Titan Grotto in PoE3 and explain the bug that players have been complaining about.
How to Start your Journey in Finding Grotto’s Treasure in Path of Exile 2
Follow these steps to find Grotto’s Treasure:
Head to the Valley of the Titans
Guide the caravan to the Valley of the Titans, where the quest will commence. Explore the area to find three seals scattered across the map: Sundari, Rajendra, and Shakti.
As you explore the Valley of Titans, you can also complete the Ancient Vows quest. Locate the Offering to Amrit, where you can use the two relics obtained during The City of Seven Waters and A Theft of Ivory. Combine them at the Altar to receive a random permanent buff.
Here are the buffs we’ve encountered so far:
- +10% Chaos Resistance
- 10% increased Flask Charges gained
- 30% increased Charm Charges gained
- 15% increased Mana Recovery from Flasks
You can change this buff at any time by returning to the altar, but you’ll only have access to the two buffs you randomly receive.
Once you’ve collected all three Ancient Seals, head to the center of the map, where a massive stone tower stands. As it crumbles, the entrance to The Titan Grotto will be revealed. Enter it to continue your quest.
Locating the Titan Grotto
Explore The Titan Grotto to locate the Dias of Reckoning. Step onto its center, then move away. A distant colossus will approach the dias and drive a sword into its heart, triggering the boss fight with Zalmarath.
You’ll need high damage output to defeat Zalmarath before it destroys the dias you’re standing on. Consider using cold damage or optimizing your build for single-target damage. For more tips, be sure to check out our dedicated boss guide on Zalmarath, the Colossus.
You can read our guide on How to Easily Beat Zalmarath, The Colossus in Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) for better clarification.
Once Zalmarath is defeated, collect its Flame Ruby and return to the caravan and give it to Zarka to get your reward.
Note: Titan’s Treasure can be found in Titan’s Grotto during Act 2, close to the area where the Zalmarath boss fight takes place but it’s missing and there seems to be a bug.
The Bug and the Missing Grotto’s Treasure in PoE6: Explained
Since Path of Exile 2 entered early access, players on forums and Reddit have been discussing the absence of Titan’s Treasure in the Titan’s Grotto. Despite checking multiple times, many have reported being unable to find the treasure, leading to speculation that it may be bugged or missing from the area.
Numerous players have reported about how they are failing to find Titan’s Treasure, even after defeating the Titan boss. Repeated runs through the Grotto do not seem to yield any results, further fueling the belief that the treasure may be bugged or inaccessible at this time.
Several players have suggested that a stone Titan, with a sword lodged in its throat, might be the key to finding the Titan’s Treasure. This stone figure is near a checkpoint in the Grotto, but interacting with it seems to yield no results.
The general consensus among players is that the treasure is currently bugged, similar to another issue with Tinker’s Tools, which are visible on the world map but don’t appear in the game. Unfortunately, Grinding Gear Games has not yet provided a fix or addressed the problem, leaving players uncertain about when the issue will be resolved.
