How to Get the Flaming Meteor Mystic Skill
To get the Flaming Meteor Mystic Skill, you first need to finish the Lost Chapter quest in the northern area called The Bodhi Sea. In this quest, your main job is to find and activate three drums hidden in the fog.
The Lost Chapter Quest
Start from the north side of the area and follow the path shown in the gameplay. You can also track the drums by following the sound icons that pop up, which point you toward the next drum. Each drum is guarded by enemies. Just be careful, these enemies revive for a short time even after you beat them.
Enter the Illusion World
Once all three drums are activated, head back to the central temple and talk to the NPC. They will teleport you into an illusion world. Follow the main path until you reach the end, where you will fight a boss named Yay Wanchan. Defeat him, and you will be sent back to the real world. From now on, you can hit the drum again to re-enter the illusion and fight the boss as many times as you want.
How to Unlock the Flaming Meteor Skill
When you go back in for the second fight, you will notice a white eye icon next to the boss’s health bar. To learn the skill, you need to fill the meter around that eye. The only way to fill it is to parry the boss’s jump attack perfectly. Each successful parry gives you a short counterattack animation and fills the meter a bit. Keep parrying this move until the meter is full, then defeat the boss. After the fight, you will unlock the Flaming Meteor Mystic Skill.
Flaming Meteor Skill
You need at least 60 Vitality to use this skill. You will charge forward, stomping the ground with enough force to launch yourself into the air. While airborne, you transform your weapon into a blazing spear and throw it at your enemies, creating a fiery explosion that hits all nearby targets. Then, you crash down like a meteor, dealing extra damage on impact. While using this skill, you gain 15% damage reduction and Super Armour, making you tougher to interrupt.
As you master it, the skill gets even stronger. At Tier 2, you regain a bit of Vitality for each enemy hit by your spear, up to three enemies. By Tier 3, the final impact does more damage, 10% extra for every enemy in the landing zone, up to five. And at Tier 4, your defence while casting skills improves further, raising your damage reduction to 40%.
