How to Get The Bull King’s Iron Horn in Black Myth Wukong

In Black Myth Wukong, you must locate crafting and upgrading materials for your various armor and gear sets. You need to find the required materials for crafting armor sets and take them to the Keeper’s Shrine to craft them. If you are going for the Bull King’s armor set, you need to farm a particular item called Bull King’s Iron Horn. This item cannot be found easily, and you can only gather 4 of this material during your first playthrough. But you require more than 4 Bull King Iron Horn crafting materials to build the entire Bull King armor set.

If you are struggling to collect Bull King’s Iron Horn, there is a way to go about it in the game. This guide will teach us how to get the Bull King’s Iron Horn item in Black Myth Wukong.

How to Get The Bull King’s Iron Horn in Black Myth Wukong

There are two ways to farm Bull King’s Iron Horn, but you must unlock a secret area first. Here, we will see how to get the Bull King’s Iron Horn in Black Myth Wukong.

How to Unlock Cave Depths in Secret: Bishui Cave Black Myth Wukong

To get the Bull King’s Iron Horn item, you must unlock Cave Depths in Secret: Bishui Cave’s hidden area. This area can be located in Chapter 5’s Flaming Mountains region. If you haven’t unlocked the secret area yet, try to complete the Five Carts main story quest first. Since this quest is part of the main storyline, you won’t miss it.

After talking to and defeating Pale-Axe Stalwart, a large Minotaur-looking boss at Ashen Pass 1, you can start the quest. Just head over to Woods of Ember > Ashen Pass 1 shrine. After the fight, you can begin the Five Carts quest, where you must locate and defeat four different carts and collect loot off the fifth cart. Once you are done, you can either find and talk to Pale Axe Stalwart at Ashen Pass 1, or you can find him in Field of Fire > Ashen Pass 3.

If you are looking for the NPC in Ashen Pass 3, follow the path directly in front of the shrine, and it will start curving to the left. At the end of the path is a flight of stairs on your right. Go down those and continue to turn to the right. You will spot a lit area where the Pale Axe Stalwart is. After that, you can unlock Cave Depths in Secret: Bishui Cave.

Bull King’s Iron Horn Location Black Myth Wukong

As soon as you unlock Cave Depths shrine, go left of the shrine and down the short flight of stairs. There is a chest on your left side, open it to get 1x Bull King’s Iron Horn. Then, it would be best if you traveled to the end of the cave to defeat a boss called Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast. To find the Bishui Golden Eyed Beast, continue down the path where you have picked up the Bull King’s Iron Horn item till you come across a long ice slope. Slide down the hill to find the Corridor of Fire and Ice shrine.

Right beside the shrine is the boss fight. If you have picked up the Fireproof Mantle from defeating Elder Jinchi, equip this item first. The boss will deal a lot of fire damage, so it can work here if you have Frost Damage spells like the Hoarfrost Transformation Spell. Use Immobilize whenever possible to stop Bishui Golden Eyed Beast in its tracks and then call forth Pluck of Many to deal with multiple attacks. After defeating the boss, you can claim 3x Bull King’s Iron Horn.

How to Get More Bull King’s Iron Horn in Black Myth Wukong

Since you only get 4 Bull King’s Iron Horns, you must farm more to complete the Bull King’s armor set. You need three more of this crafting material to get the complete set. The only way this is possible is if you have NG+ unlocked. Repeat the steps above and unlock the Cave Depths secret area to find three more Bull King’s Iron Horn. You can then reach the nearest shrine and craft the Bull King’s armor set.
