In AION 2, Stigma Shards are an important item for upgrading your Stigma skills. They can be acquired through various means, such as purchasing them using AP, contract completion, dungeon runs, Ascendance trail completion, and from Hidden Cubes. How to Get Stigma Shards
The Stigma Shards are an important resource in Aion 2. There are a number of ways one can get Stigma Shards in the game. A number of the ways to do so will be unlocked early on in the game, while some will come later through the release of seasonal content.
Buy Stigma Shards With AP
Stigma Shard collection through AP is one of the primary methods. All that you have to do is go to the AP Exchange tab and enter the Growth tab, where you can directly buy the Stigma Shards. The cost of each Stigma Shard is 25,000 AP, which seems like quite an expense in the early stages of the game but is relatively easier to collect later on.
Complete Command Merchant Contracts
A third method to receive the Stigma Shards is by doing the Command Merchant contracts. There are several of them, and they are similar, but at the same time, the price and conditions get higher from one contract to another. For completing these contracts, you will receive AP that can be used to buy Stigma Shards. You will have the possibility of getting Unstable Stigma Shards that will have to be morphed into usual Stigma Shards.
The contracts are rather easy to do since their conditions are mostly connected with killing a certain amount of mobs. Once you complete the required objectives, you can turn in the contract and collect your rewards.
Use Contract Rolls for Stigma Shards
In the process of getting your rewards from the contract, you can roll for your reward. One of the possible rewards includes Unstable Stigma Shards that can then be changed to Stigma Shards. If you do not get the reward you seek, then you can keep rolling according to the available rewards. Contracts are an excellent weekly means of obtaining more Stigma Shards; however, it cannot be assured that the number of Stigma Shards will be high each week.
Get Stigma Shards From Dungeons
Later content adds another way to farm Stigma Shards through dungeons. However, not every dungeon drops them. Dungeons introduced later in Season 2, however, do give Stigma Shards as loot rewards.
The Transcendence Dungeon provides another source of Stigma Shards. Doer Thresher Slab and Shattered Archanis are two dungeons that can give Stigma Shards as loot. The shards can drop even from the lower levels, while higher levels also provide a chance to obtain them. This gives you another way to farm Stigma Shards on a regular basis.
Complete the Ascendance Trail
The Ascendance Trail is yet another one of the places where players can get Stigma Shards. This quest offers different challenges such as Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme, and Insane modes, but it may vary according to the version or season players are currently in. Players cannot farm this quest continuously because of the weekly limitation, and players can collect about 44-46 Stigma Shards each run and about 120 from three runs.
Open Hidden Cubes
The Unstable Stigma Shards can also be earned via Hidden Cubes that you may find on the map. The Hidden Cubes can be found by following their sounds. Once you find them, opening them can reward you with various materials, including Stigma Shards.
