How to Get Messy Stash and Artifact in Pol Depot Stalker 2

In Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, the Pol Depot is home to valuable loot and a dangerous artifact. Pol Depot is situated to the northwest of Zalissya in the Lesser Zone. To find the Pol Depot Messy Stash and the artifact, you must carefully navigate areas filled with electrical anomalies and hostile enemies. This guide will show you how to locate and secure the Messy Stash, as well as how to climb the silos to retrieve the artifact, all while keeping an eye on your health.

How to Get Messy Stash in Pol Depot in Stalker 2

To get Messy Stash in Pol Depot, start by heading toward the Messy Stash icon on your map. When you arrive, you will find a couple of pipelines there. Now, go northwest, and you will see a set of stairs. You can use the stairs to climb up onto the pipeline. The stairs are next to the four large tanks near an enemy bandit camp.

Climb the stairs and carefully walk along the pipelines until you spot the stash resting on one of the pipes. Be cautious as you move above the pipeline to avoid falling and taking damage. The exact location of the Pol Depot Messy Stash is marked on the map above. In the Pol Depot Messy Stash loot, you will find energy drinks, drinking water, medical kit, and ammunition.

At the Pol Depot, you can also find the Bandit Jacket, a simple, dark-colored jacket typically worn by thugs. Weighing 3.0 kilograms, the jacket has one artifact slot and can be sold for 17,200 Coupons to traders in the Zone.

To find it, head to the west side of Pol Depot, northwest of Zalissya. Be cautious as a large group of bandits patrol the area. Look for the entrance to a utility tunnel near a large, solitary tank on the west side of the depot. Enter the tunnel, get to the end, and find a small room to loot the Bandit Jacket and other valuable items like Medkits.

How to Get Artifact in Pol Depot in Stalker 2

In the Pol Depot area, you will see a lot of silos. To get an artifact in Pol Depot, you need to climb one of the silos and grab the medical kit and some ammunition. For that, head towards the broken wire spool pile on the map above.

Climb up onto the broken wire spool, then jump onto the pipeline. Walk towards the silo ladder. Now jump and climb up the silo.

Once you are at the top of the silo, be careful, as the area is filled with strong electrical anomalies that can seriously harm you and could be deadly within seconds. So, toss a bolt to help clear the path. Keep an eye on your health, too, as it will start dropping, so you may need to use your medical kit frequently.

You will also run into an enemy here. Since you are at the top of the silo, use it as a vantage point to easily snipe out the enemy. After taking him down, clear the area of electrical anomalies by throwing a bolt, then head over to the ladder to go down.

Once you reach the bottom of the silo, use an artifact detector to locate the artifact. You will find the artifact at the base of the silo – in our case, it was a moonlight artifact, but you might find a different one.

How to Equip the Artifact

In Stalker 2, artifacts can grant you unique abilities but may also have negative side effects. Once you pick up an artifact, you can equip it to gain its special effects. To do this, open your inventory menu, press down on Xbox or I on PC, then drag and drop the artifact into one of the quick access slots. If you do not see the equipment section, press the left control stick on Xbox or Q on PC to reveal it.
