Limes are a common Foothills resource that boost Maximum Health and are a key ingredient in seafood recipes like Seafood Platter and Refreshing Lime Juice. You’ll find them on lime trees in the Foothills and can secure a steady supply by harvesting wild trees for seeds and planting them in Seedbeds at your base. This guide shows exact Foothill hotspots to find lime resources so that you can keep your food table stocked.
Foothills Biome
Obtaining Lime requires you to progress the main questline to the Foothills biome. Lime will unlock new schematics for food recipes and most importantly Hard Grog – it can be used on your ship during naval combat to increase your damage resistance by 15% for 30 minutes.

When you’re in the Foothills, look for the huge trees that are un-choppable as shown in the above image. You should be able to spot these huge trees very easily.
Head towards the huge tree and look around near its roots, you should be able to spot Lime Trees as depicted in the above pictures. You can harvest Lime from these trees, along with them you’ll also obtain lime seeds which can be used to harvest more limes through your farm.
