How to get Flying Gourds in Where Winds Meet

Flying Gourds is an upgrade in Where Winds Meet that improves how Peak’s Springless Silence works, making it even more useful in combat. While it adds a small cooldown penalty, the extra charges and bonus effects can make a big difference if you know how to use it properly. In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find the Flying Gourds tome and what it does.

How to get Flying Gourds

Flying Gourds is an upgrade that gives Peak’s Springless Silence two extra charges, but it also adds a 3-second increase to its cooldown. To get Flying Gourds, start by talking to the Sundara Land Wayfarer. Unlock the Sundara Land map to move forward to the next clue. The tome you need is hidden below the Inkwell Fan Sanctum, inside a chest located just before the Skill Theft encounter.

You’ll find the chest with the Tome right before you carry out the Skill Theft for the Inkwell Fan Martial Art. It’s easy to spot because there are two wooden barrels beside it, and it’s sitting right in front of a wall covered in thick vines.

The entrance to this cave needs a Dragon Key. You can find it northwest of the Floral Expanse Beyond Boundary Stone. Once you head inside, explore the area, and you will find the Flying Gourds tome in the Inkwell Fan Sanctum section. Gives you 2 extra charges for Peak’s Springless Silence, but adds 3 seconds to its cooldown.

Flying Gourds in Where Winds Meet

At Tier 1, when you use the special skill Peak’s Springless Silence and teleport back to your original spot using the Water Entity, the skill comes back 3 seconds faster and you also get a 20% boost to your movement speed. At Tier 2, your Precision Rate goes up depending on how high your Solo Mode level is.

At Tier 3, if you hit an enemy that’s in the air but don’t manage to knock them down, your next Peak’s Springless Silence within the next 15 seconds will deal 30% more damage and have its cooldown reduced by 3 seconds. At Tier 4, after returning to your original position with the Water Entity during Peak’s Springless Silence, your next charged Light Attack skill, Fleeting Gale, charges much faster, and its tornado moves 50% faster for the next 3 seconds.

At Tier 5, your Silkbind Penetration increases by 6, letting your attacks cut through more effectively. At Tier 6, when Spring Empties the Mountains hits an enemy and successfully launches them or applies Lingering Bone, it instantly refunds 2 seconds of cooldown and fully resets the cooldown of Moonrise Startles Spring. For the next 3 seconds, every Heavy Attack follow-up hit on that same enemy reduces Spring Empties the Mountains cooldown by 1 second. These effects can only activate once per second.
