The Mesa update in PEAK takes you to a scorching desert filled with tough climbs, tricky obstacles, and plenty of fun challenges. Along with the new landscape, it adds ten fresh badges you can earn most of them only while exploring the MESA. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you get it done.

How to Get All New Badges in  Mesa Update

The Mesa update brings a hot, sun-baked desert full of new challenges to tackle as you make your climb. It also adds ten brand-new badges to PEAK, most of which you can only earn while exploring and surviving in the MESA.

    Aueronotics Badge

This one’s all about flying in the skies. To unlock it, strap five Balloons onto yourself and float your way up. It’s as simple as it sounds just be careful where you drift.  Balloons aren’t just lying around in the open, so don’t expect an easy grab. Instead, you’ll need to search through luggage boxes scattered around PEAK. Finding all five might take a bit of time, but once you’ve got them, you’re ready for liftoff.

    Astronomy Badge

In the MESA area, grab the Binoculars and point them directly at the blazing sun. That’s all it takes to earn this badge.

    Cool Cucumber Badge

The goal here is to climb over the MESA without ever letting your HEAT level rise above 10%. You can use Sunscreen, carry a Parasol, or just stick to shady spots and dodge the sun. Make it to the MESA’s Campfire while keeping cool to claim your badge.

    Daredevil Badge

You must use a Scout Cannon to launch another player across the MESA canyon. Simply load your pal in, aim, and fire away; the canyon is located directly at the foot of the central plateau of the MESA.

    Megaentomology Badge

To earn this, you’ll have to survive a run-in with an Antlion. Let yourself fall into its pit and get bitten. Then, have a friend pull you out. If you are playing solo then tie yourself to a rope with pitons, get bitten, and then haul yourself back up. These creatures only show up in the Mesa biome, and they hang out in huge, bowl-shaped sand pits. You can spot their pits easily; they look like big round dips in the sand with a piece of luggage sitting right in the middle, acting like bait.

    Needlepoint Badge

For this badge, let five of the small MESA cactuses stick to you. Once they’re attached, pull them off to complete the challenge. Look around the area, they’re usually scattered on the ground and not too hard to spot. Cactuses are a common sight in the Mesa biome, which was added in the latest update.

    Nomad Badge

This one’s straightforward: just make it all the way up the MESA to the Campfire at the top. Do it for the first time, and the badge is yours.

    Resourcefulness Badge

Find another person who is unconscious and hit “E” to eat them after your hunger level falls below 60%.

    24 Karot Badge

You’ll need the Golden Idol from the TOMB area. Take it and toss it into the lava inside the Kiln. Easy in theory but right now, it’s impossible to finish because of an invisible wall glitch in the MESA. ou can find the TOMB in the first section of the Mesa map. Look for a hole on the side of a cliff, surrounded by taller hills, that leads underground.

    Ultimate Badge

Grab the Flying Disk from the SHORE, climb to the Campfire, and throw it down to a teammate waiting in the starting area. If they catch it from 100 meters away, you’ve both got the badge.

Decided that degrees were as useful as extra lives in a Mario game-totally unnecessary! I’m diving into the extravagant universe of my favourite game, Assassin’s Creed, which lets me roam the world without actually paying for plane tickets. Hodophile by nature and aspiring to get lost in Hang Sơn Đoòng cave in Vietnam someday!
