The Advanced Battery is a high capacity battery that aids your electronics run longer compared to a regular battery. Its blueprints are commonly found around the Karakorum Power Plant region. This guide shows exactly where to find the fragments of Advanced Battery to unlock its blueprint and resources needed to craft them, so that you can explore deep waters with much more reliable gear.
Obtaining Advanced Battery Blueprint
To get the blueprint, you need to scan 2 fragments of the Advanced Battery. These fragments are found in expedition sites and wrecks.
1st Fragment Location
From Alien Base, head east and stay around ~200m depth and look for the wreck that is shown in the above image. Just below the wreck site, there’s an expedition site where you can find the advanced battery fragment which is the yellow object as shown in the above images. Scan the fragment using a Scanner.
2nd Fragment Location
From the first fragment location, head northeast until you find another expedition site where you’ll find the second fragment to scan. Scanning both the fragments will unlock the blueprint for Advanced Battery.
Crafting Advanced Battery
Crafting the Advanced Battery requires 3 resources – silver ingot, strong acid and conduit crystal. The first two resources are easy to obtain but you need to explore deep waters >250m depth to find Conduit Crystals. And the best place to find them is the Angel Comb’s surrounding area which is just past the Power Plant.
