How to Find Prism Hercudrome in Monster Hunter Wilds

The elusive Prism Hercudrome, a glistening, scarce insect, is a sought-after discovery for any Monster Hunter Wilds fan. Yet, its nighttime appearance and limited location render it difficult to obtain. This guide will present a step-by-step method of effectively finding and capturing this highly valued creature, optimizing your chances of success.

How to Find Prism Hercudrome

The Prism Hercudrome can only be found in the Ruins of Wyveria, specifically on the side of a tree in Area 5, which is on the second level of the map. It’s a rare spawn and only appears for a few minutes at night, just before morning, so you might have to reset your game a few times to catch it.

To make things easier, set up your Pop-Up Camps at the Support Desk and create the Area 6: Southeast camp, it’s the safest and closest spot to the Prism Hercudrome’s location, just west in Area 5. Before heading to the tree, don’t forget to use your Tent to rest, change the time to Night, and set the environment to Plenty. This will boost your chances of spotting the Hercudrome.

Tips

  • Set the Time to Night: Use your Tent at camp to change the time to Night.
  • Time It Right: Wait in-game until there are only 3-5 minutes left before Morning.
  • Save Smart: Save your game in the settings at this point, this lets you reset without losing time.
  • Check the Tree: Head to the tree in Area 5 and look for the Hercudrome.
  • Reset if Needed: If the bug isn’t there, quit without saving.
  • Fast Travel and Repeat: Reload your game, fast travel to the Area 6: Southeast camp, and check again.
  • Rinse and Repeat: Keep repeating the process until the Prism Hercudrome spawns.
