Ore is the backbone of survival in the Colony, it’s the currency of the colony. You need ores to spend on weapons, armor, training and basic supplies. You can obtain ores by looting chests, but they only have small amounts of ores. The fastest way to earn ores is to mine ores, trade resources and completing quests. In this guide, I’ll show you the fastest way to earn 100 ores just by completing a simple quest.
Path to New Camp Mine
After you reach the New Camp, navigate deep into the camp past the rice fields, you’ll reach a wooden arch, expect to be stopped briefly and questioned by the mercenaries guarding the mining sector, nothing to be alarmed about. Head through the arch, and you’ll reach the mining sector of New Camp.
Canvassing Customers Quest
Make your way down the mine and look for the npc Baal Kagan, speak with him and he’s going to give you a task to distribute his product to the people around the mines.
You need to look for mercenaries and bandits near the mines and sell them the Green Novice for 10 ores. Baal gives you 10 herb rolls, so you’ll get 100 ores if you sell 10 herb roles for 10 ores each.
Get 100 Ores
After you’re done with handing out the herbs, go back to Baal Kagan and speak with him. You’ll be presented with 3 options – get paid in nuggets, join the brotherhood where Kagan puts in a good word on your behalf to join the Swamps Camp and get the scrolls. Select the get paid in nuggets options and you’ll be paid 100 ores along with 200 experience points.
This is one of the easiest quests to earn 100 ores by doing the simplest task during the early game, so that you can quickly get started on upgrades for your character.
