In Subnautica 2, the Survival Multitool is the single most useful early game item which is cheap to craft, versatile and essential for harvesting resources faster, saving us time and oxygen throughout our runs. This guide shows the exact recipe, where to find materials quickly and craft the Survivor Multitool as early as possible so you can focus on exploration.
Obtaining Titanium
The only resource you need to unlock survivor multitool is Titanium and luckily for us, it’s a very common resource on this alien planet. I’m sure you must’ve already noticed a greyish ore underwater, that is Titanium ore.
You don’t need any tools to obtain these ores, you just need to approach the ore and you’ll get an option to collect the ores.
Crafting Survivor Multitool
After you’ve collected Titanium ores, you can craft the Survivor Multitool through the fabricator and you’re only going to need 3 ores to craft the multitool. This tool will decrease your time consumption in obtaining resources and you can now harvest tougher materials found throughout the game.
