Rubber is a small but essential resource in Subnautica 2 during your early game as it is used to craft fins and many other early survival items. This guide shows exactly what resources you need and how to craft rubber.
Obtaining Lucifer Rotsac
The only raw material you need to craft Rubber is Lucifer Rotsac. And you can find these lying on the seabed, they look like glowing yellow orbs like shown in the above images. You’d have to scout the surrounding area of the lifepod to find them. These spawn over time so you don’t need to go farther just to collect them, so make sure to collect as much as possible.
Crafting Rubber
After obtaining the Lucifer Rotsac, get back to the fabricator and you now should be able to craft Rubber. You’re going to need 2 lucifer rotsac to craft 1 unit of rubber.
