This quick guide shows exactly where to find fibrous pulp and crafting fiber so you can focus on exploration.
Obtaining Fibrous Pulp
Dive beneath the surface and look for the plant shown in the above images on the seabed that looks like kelp, this plant is called Whip Gorgon. By harvesting this plant, you’ll obtain the fibrous pulp.
Crafting Fiber
After you’ve obtained the fibrous pulp, you’ll unlock the blueprint to craft Fiber. You can craft Fiber through the fabricator inside the lifepod. A single unit of fiber will consume 2 fibrous pulps.
Oily Salad – Food
When you obtain fibrous pulp, you’re also going to unlock Oily Salad food recipe and you can craft this using the fabricator and use it as food but not before obtaining the alien trait that is going to upgrade your digestive system.
