One of the earliest discoveries your party will make in Horns of the South in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is the All-Mother’s Shrine. Completing a ritual at the shrine will yield an extremely powerful amulet that offers a second chance at life. This guide provides directions on where to find its components: Rose, Sage, and Feather, and then how to carry out the offering.
Overview – All-Mother’s Shrine Ritual

Not long after waking from the asylum with Caradoc, you will find yourself stranded on a beach in the Horns of the South. Adjusting to your new surroundings and walking blindly into the inland toward the East, one of your first sights will likely be this weathered stone structure called the All-Mother’s Shrine.
Here you witness a ghastly scene: two panicky peasants and a lifeless body. After you handle the peasants, check the corpse. There is a letter that reveals the exact instructions for the ritual to be done at the shrine. When performed, the ritual will reward you with an extremely powerful amulet, but it requires gathering three items first: Rose, Sage, and Feather. Follow through for locations.
Finding a Rose

Roses can be found blooming on certain bushes scattered throughout the area, and while they’re not overly common, there are a few reliable places to look. One rose bush grows just behind the Red Priest merchant at Shadow of the Horns Keep. Another can be spotted underneath the stone arch close to Abigor and the One-Handed Skill statue. If you head northeast of the Keep and move slightly west of the Ruined Market Square, you’ll find another rose bush growing in the wild. There’s also one more located just outside the Keep’s outer walls, nestled against the stone structure. Keep an eye out for their distinct appearance as you explore.
Getting a Feather

You can usually pick up Feathers by looting bandits—especially the ones wearing lighter armor. If you’re not having any luck with drops, head over to Osbryht, the blacksmith at Shadow of the Horns Keep. He sells Feathers for 16 gold each. He also sells wood if you need any.
Finding Sage

Sage is fairly easy to find once you know what to look for—it has a soft, feathery purple top and can appear either growing in the wild or stashed away in random containers like sacks, crates, and chests. You’ll often come across it while exploring, especially along the roadside northwest of the All-Mother’s Shrine. There’s also some growing just northeast of the shrine itself. If you continue east toward Shadow of the Horns Keep, you might spot more Sage growing near the same area where you found the rose bushes earlier.
Your Reward: All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet

Once you’ve got everything, return to the shrine and interact with it when prompted. You’ll receive the All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet, which acts as a one-time revive item. If you die while it’s equipped, you’ll come back to life instantly with full health. Keep in mind, though, that the amulet will break after use, and your mana and stamina won’t be restored—only your health.
