Accessing the Secret Store Room in R.E.P.O.
When you enter the shop in R.E.P.O., the layout and item selection will vary each time. However, the tile leading to the secret room is consistently located above the endcap with the health packs.
How to Open the Tile
To open the tile, stand on the edge of the shop shelf, grab the far end of the tile, and pull it toward you. Alternatively, if a gun is available in the service shop, you can shoot the tile to open it.
Singleplayer
Accessing the secret room solo can be challenging, but there are a few effective methods:
- Feather Drone – The easiest solo option. It makes you light enough to simply float up through the opening.
- Zero Gravity Drone – When activated, this causes you to float slightly when you jump, similar to low gravity. You may need to stack items or use a loot cart to get enough height.
- Shockwave Mine – Drop a shockwave mine below the hole, jump on it once it’s armed, and let the blast propel you upward. It may take a few tries to get the aim right.
- Stacking Items – If there are enough items around, you can try stacking them to parkour your way through the opening. This is the most difficult method.
If you can’t find the necessary items, restart your game from the same save file while in the shop to reset the available items.
Multiplayer
Having a friend makes accessing the secret room easier.
- After opening the tile, have your friend press Q to shrink themselves.
- Pick them up and lift them toward the opening.
- If you can’t reach high enough, use the mouse wheel to push them up or stand on the shop shelf for extra height.
- To enter yourself, shrink with Q and have your friend lift you through the opening.

The Human Grenade, priced at $2K, delivers a more precise explosion with less damage compared to a standard grenade. On the other hand, the Duct Tape Grenade, also costing $2K, is exactly what it sounds like—a bundle of Human Grenades taped together. It causes greater damage but lacks precision. These powerful explosives can be a game-changer if you find yourself cornered, making the effort to reach the secret store worthwhile—if you can afford them.
