The Hidden Ruins of the Quarry is one of the secrets in Crimson Desert that can easily be missed while doing the Sealed in Stone quest. At first, this is a normal story area where you fight enemies, solve the crane puzzle, and complete the quest. Later in the game, after getting a special skill, you can return to this area to enter a hidden room with an important item used later in the game. Hidden Ruins of the Quarry Puzzle Sealed in Stone Secret Area
While doing the Sealed in Stone quest, after clearing the quarry and defeating the boss, you will use the crane to pull out a relic. Once the relic is removed, a hole opens up inside the quarry. After learning the Focused Force Palm skill in Chapter 4, return to the quarry and go back down into the hole where you found the earlier hidden cave.
Inside the cave, a few turrets will attack you right away, but they are easy to deal with. The breakable wall is on the left side of the cave. To destroy it, first enter Focus mode, then charge your force attack. Aim carefully at the energy source powering the wall. Once you hit that point, the wall disappears and opens the hidden room.
Inside, you will find more turrets. In the centre of the room, there is an important item called the Abyss Transporter teleport piece.
How to Use the Crane
Take the elevator up to the control room first. Once you are there, go to the crane controls near the window and start operating the crane wheel. Look down below and find the buried relic, it is the light grey cube sitting in the middle of the ground under the crane.
Use the D-pad to lower the crane claws onto the relic. A good way to line it up is to let one claw grab one side of the cube first, then carefully move the second claw until it catches the other side. When both claws are positioned correctly, the crane will automatically lock onto the relic.
