Generator Cogwheel Puzzle Solution
As players make their way into the dark corridor, they will come across an empty battery panel. Doey will then extend a hand holding a battery to help power up the system and activate the door cogwheel mechanism. Turn around and head to the first door on your left, where you’ll find the cogwheel mechanism for the door. However, it’s missing three cogwheels that you will need to find in order to unlock the door and move on to the next area in Poppy Playtime.
The Three Cogwheels
To find the three cogwheels, start by turning right from the mechanism and entering the maze-like area with chain-linked fences, where you will find the first cogwheel resting on a workbench. For the second and third cogwheels, exit the area and head back into the hallway to enter another section of the structure.
You will find a stack of boxes on the left side, move them aside to uncover the second, larger cogwheel. For the final cogwheel, take a U-turn, turn left, and look under a shelf to find the last cogwheel with a silver rim. Now, you have all three cogwheels.
Puzzle Solution
Once you have all three cogwheels, return to the mechanism and start inserting them into the larger gear setup. Place the smaller cogwheel into the right slot, the cogwheel with the silver rim in the middle, and the largest cogwheel into the left slot. When all the cogwheels are properly positioned, the shutter door will open, letting you move forward to the next area in Poppy Playtime.
Tips
- Before inserting any cogwheels, make sure you’ve found all three. One is on a workbench inside the fenced maze, another is hidden behind stacked boxes, and the last one is under a shelf.
- The area is dark and maze-like, so explore carefully to avoid missing a cogwheel.
- If the gears don’t engage properly, double-check their positions. Each correct placement should cause part of the mechanism to move.
- While solving the puzzle, keep an eye on your surroundings for potential dangers as you progress.
