Fallout 76 Server Status – Maintenance Schedule and Downtime

Getting a connection or server-related error is one of the most frustrating things when playing a game. But if you know what’s wrong with the servers and your device is not to blame, it can save you several hours of troubleshooting. Keeping aside the recent jump in player numbers when the servers were constantly unstable, the Fallout 76 servers have been relatively stable. We update this post regularly to reflect the current status of the Fallout 76 servers.

Error Codes that Appear When the Server is Unavailable

  1. Authorization Failed Code 2:0:2195727145: Players receive this error when launching the game. This authorization failed error prevents players from getting into the game. To resolve it, you can try restarting your device. If that doesn’t help, then it should be the server-side issue. Make sure to check the game’s current server status. If the server is down, the error will be resolved automatically once it returns online.
  2. Error Code 3 0 5629: This error code appears when players try to log into the game. This particular error kicks players out of the game. Usually, this error appears when there are some issues in the connection. So, make sure your internet connection is stable and working fine. Furthermore, make sure the main game server is up and running fine. If that is down for any reason, the error will get fixed on its own.
  3. Unknown Server Error: Players experience an unknown server error when logging in. This is likely an issue with the game’s authentication server. To fix it, try restarting the game once or restarting your router or modem to establish a new connection.
  4. Game Code Failure Login Error: When this error triggers, it prevents players from getting into the game. This error might occur if the game server is down for any reason. So, make sure the game’s server is up and running fine. You can also try fixing missing or corrupted game files by verifying file integrity.
  5. Error Code [4:9:1]: This specific error code usually indicates that something is blocking or prohibiting your connection to the game’s server. When this error occurs, make sure to check the game’s current server status. If it is down, simply wait patiently, and the error will be fixed once its services are back online.

  6. Try playing after a few hours.

How to Check Fallout 76 Server Status

There are various ways you can verify the status of the Fallotu 76 servers, but the first thing you should do is follow us on X, where to report the server status regularly, both announced and server glitches. You can also go to the Official Fallout 76 website to verify the server status, but only scheduled downtime is reported there. Downdetector is another great website to check if other players have the same issue as yours. You can also head over to Reddit to check if other players have the same issue. If there are several reports, it’s usually a glitch with the servers that are to blame for the errors.
