How to Start the Extinction of the Weak Quest
In the quest Extinction of the Weak, Dolf asks you to collect 5 Frostgot Mucus. To get them, head to any water body on the map (marked on the above) and take out the snails; they’ll drop the mucus you need. Snails only show up in or around water, so your best bet is to stick near the big lake by the capital’s fast travel point. Take out 5 snails and collect their shells. Once you’ve got all five, return to Dolf. He’ll then offer to test his experiment on you, but we recommend you say no to him. To complete the quest properly, just refuse the injection and head back to Alma.
Extinction of the Weak Quest Bug Issue
There’s a known bug that can prevent you from completing the quest if you agree. Instead, politely decline and go back to Alma to finish the quest properly. When Dolf offers to inject you, don’t say yes. If you agree, you’ll wake up in his prison cell, and the quest will bug out you won’t be able to finish it (at least for now).
