Enshrouded Albaneve Resources Guide/Locations – How to Get Silver Ore & Bar, Obsidian, Steel, Coal, Amethyst, Ice, and Snow

In the latest update of Enshrouded Souls of The Frozen Frontier, players are introduced to a wide array of new materials essential for crafting, upgrading gear, and surviving the harsh, icy landscapes of the Albaneve Summits. This guide will walk you through the best locations for gathering these valuable resources, explain how to farm them effectively and show you how to unlock critical crafting abilities to help you progress. These are the best places to farm in the new Enshrouded Souls of The Frozen Frontier update, though more spots may be discovered later on.

How to Get Coal in Enshrouded

Coal can be found in several biomes, but the Albaneve Summits is where you’ll find the richest deposits. This snowy, mountainous region with its steep cliffs is an ideal place to start your search. You can mine coal from both surface outcrops and inside caves. One of the best places to find coal is inside caves in the Albaneve Summits.

As you explore, keep an eye out for small coal deposits tucked in corners or along cave walls. These are often found alongside other valuable materials like iron, so it’s worth taking your time to fully explore the cave systems. The coal deposits are easy to recognize – small, hard lumps perfect for use as fuel.

If you’re looking for more coal, there’s another rich spot near the Shroud River, just outside the caves. Glide through the area and check the cliffs on either side of the river for coal nodes tucked into the cracks in the rock. These can be tricky to reach without a glider, but the climb is worth it for those willing to take on the challenge.

Be aware that some of these spots may require cold-resistant armor before you can fully explore them. For those who prefer flying, the icy peaks around the Albaneve Summits offer a great way to find coal. Gliding through the region gives you an aerial view, making it easy to spot coal deposits along the mountain ridges without hiking up the slopes.

Coal is vital in the Enshrouded Souls of the Frozen Frontier Update, making it a valuable resource. Finding it will greatly benefit your efforts to craft better gear and power your machines. The Albaneve Summits, caves, and icy peaks are excellent places to search for coal, and if you’re lucky, you might even stumble upon it while hunting for other materials like iron and silver.

How to Get Silver Ore in Enshrouded

Silver is now the most valuable resource to find in the latest update. To farm it, head to the Forge of Obsidia, located southeast of Howling Peak. This spot is a great source of various precious materials, including iron, coal, Amethyst, Obsidium, and silver.

You’ll want some frost resistance to make farming here easier, so set up a Flame Shrine outside the Forge to help. Once you enter the Forge, head straight ahead, jump down, and you’ll find silver in two locations. Grab your pickaxe and start mining the silver ores. You can collect four silver ores every time you relog.

How to Get Silver Bar in Enshrouded

To farm silver bars, you’ll need to gather coal first. After you have gathered coal, you can proceed to craft Silver Bars. To craft Silver Bar, you need to unlock the Blacksmith and complete the quest given by the Blacksmith. The Blacksmith is the first Survivor you’ll need to rescue, and while the task itself is straightforward, you can’t just rush into the Ancient Vault without a plan. You’ll start from your home base since it’s nearby, and this will be one of the first quests you undertake.

Find the Blacksmith Location in Enshrouded

Head northwest toward the Shroud Entrance/Bridge. You can take either route, but crossing the bridge requires a Grappling Hook. If you have crafted one, it’s the quicker option. Otherwise, you’ll need to go through the Shroud. Finding the Ancient Vault Blacksmith is pretty straightforward. Turn left and head west after crossing the bridge or emerging from the Shroud. You’ll spot the vault within seconds.

When you arrive, you’ll encounter two enemies. You can sneak up on the first one by using the bushes, but the second will hear you and attack as soon as you’re spotted. Take them both out, then head into the vault. Inside, you’ll find the Blacksmith’s Pod, but there’s also an enemy blocking the way. Deal with them, and then look to the right – there’s a lore page on the table. Grab it. Finally, approach the pod to rescue the Blacksmith.

Unlock Blast Furnace

The Albaneve Summit is a harsh, cold region, and players or Flameborns can’t fully explore it without reaching Flame Level 6 and having Frost Resistance. Without these, you’ll only be able to explore the lower parts of the mountains, not the peaks or the Enshrouded Areas. The Blacksmith will give you a quest to help you obtain steel. He’ll mark a location on your map where you can find an item called Bellows. This tool is essential for crafting the Blast Furnace, the only way to smelt steel in the game.

The Bellows are at the “Forge of Obsidia,” located northeast of the Ancient Spire in the Albaneve Summits. You’ll need at least +4 Frost Resistance to reach it, which lets you survive for about 6 minutes in the cold. The earliest way to get Frost Resistance is by eating food cooked by the Farmer or crafting a Pocket Heater with materials from the Hunter.

Once you reach the Forge of Obsidia, you’ll need to enter the building and get close to the hot areas – rooms with furnaces and lava. This will reset your cold-time countdown, preventing you from dying instantly from Hypothermia. The boss in this area, the “Scavenger Tyrant,” carries the Bellows you need. You can easily defeat it by luring it into the Lava. Once it’s defeated, loot the Bellows from its body.

Craft the Blast Furnace

To craft the Blast Furnace, you’ll need 30 Sand, 20 Fired Bricks, 1 Bellows, 10 Lump of Clay, and 10 Iron Bars. Before heading back to your base, explore deeper into the forge. You’ll come across a small mine with iron and coal. To find it, return to the area where the boss was, then look for a hole behind the furnaces. Head through the hole, and you’ll find an enemy guarding the mine. Take it out, and you’ll be free to gather the resources. If you’re looking for more iron, you can also mine it easily in the Ridgeback Mine, located southeast of the Ancient Spire in the Kindlewastes.

How to Get Obsidian in Enshrouded

To find Obsidian in the Enshrouded Souls of the Frozen Frontier update, head to the Albaneve Summits. This region is rich with Obsidian deposits scattered across the cliffs and within caves.

You’ll easily spot Obsidian as dark, shiny patches against the rocky landscape. Start your journey near the towering Ancient Spire and head south toward the cliff edges. Here, you’ll find several obsidian outcrops ready to be mined. After harvesting these, don’t forget to check out the eastern cliffs, which have plenty of Obsidian deposits to make your search even more worthwhile.

Keep an eye out for caves that hide even more Obsidian. One such cave is about halfway up the eastern cliffs, hidden from plain view. While these caves are home to hostile creatures like bats, the risk is worth it, as they contain rich clusters of Obsidian just waiting to be mined.

To farm Obsidian, head to the Forge of Obsidia, located southeast of Howling Peak. You’ll need frost resistance, so set up a Flame Shrine at the Forge to make farming the area much easier. Obsidian can be found inside the mine. To farm it, enter the Forge, head straight ahead, and jump down – you’ll find Obsidian waiting for you. Equip your pickaxe and start mining, though keep in mind that it takes a bit longer to mine than other resources. For now, this is one of the best spots to farm both Amethyst and Obsidian in the new Enshrouded Souls of The Frozen Frontier update, but more locations may be discovered later.

Once you’ve gathered enough Obsidian, you’ll want to put it to use for crafting. It’s an essential material for upgrading your gear, like the Mountain’s Shadow set. Plus, the Obsidian dust you get from mining can be used in higher-level crafting, giving you even more ways to boost your character’s strength. The Albaneve Summits are the best place to gather Obsidian in the Frozen Frontier update. With plenty of deposits in both the cliffs and caves, you’ll have plenty to stock up on and upgrade your gear.

How to Get Steel in Enshrouded

Steel is essential for crafting some of the toughest armor, many providing Frost Resistance and shields in the game. Whether facing off against powerful bosses or braving harsh environments, securing steel has become crucial to progressing in Enshrouded. You can craft durable gear with steel that makes combat and survival much more manageable.

You’ll need to craft Steel Bars using the Blast Furnace. To do this, you’ll need two types of materials: 20 Iron Ore and 50 Coal. Once you have all the ingredients, you can use the Blast Furnace to create 20 Steel Bars.

Once you’ve gathered some coal, you can craft steel bars to make advanced armor and tools. To create steel bars, you’ll need to use a blast furnace. The furnace requires 50 coal and 20 iron ore to produce steel bars.

You can unlock the blueprint for the blast furnace by completing a mission from the Blacksmith after exploring the snowy regions. Once you have the furnace, crafting steel bars is a straightforward process, and they’ll become a key part of your crafting materials.

Smelting Steel Bars

After you’ve crafted the Blast Furnace, set it up at your base. To smelt steel, you’ll need 20 Iron Ore and 50 Coal. This will give you 20 Steel Bars, turning your raw materials into helpful crafting resources.

How to Get Amethyst in Enshrouded

Amethyst is a beautiful purple mineral that sparkles like a hidden gem beneath the snow in Enshrouded Souls of the Frozen Frontier. Farming Amethyst is key for crafting powerful gear and upgrading your abilities. The best place to find Amethyst is in the Albaneve Summits.

As you explore the snowy landscape, watch for its distinct shimmer. Amethyst can range from a rich royal purple to a lighter lavender, making it stand out beautifully against the snow. While it’s not rare, finding large clusters can be tricky if you don’t know where to look.

To start your hunt, head to the Ancient Spire. From there, you’ll easily access several Amethyst mining spots scattered throughout the Albaneve Summits. One of the first places to check is near the obsidian caves on the eastern side of the Spire, where Amethyst often appears alongside other resources like coal.

You can also find this valuable resource in the Forge of Obsidia. To farm Amethyst, head to the Forge of Obsidia, located southeast of Howling Peak. Amethyst can be found right at the entrance of the mine by breaking the shiny type of ore. You’ll often spot these crystals along the sides of mountains – just look for the shimmering rocks sticking out. They’re scattered throughout the new summit region, so take your time and keep an eye out as you explore the mountains.

How to Craft Amethyst in Enshrouded

Amethyst is easy to spot, but getting to it can be a bit tricky. Some deposits are hidden in caves, so you may need to get up close to the terrain to find them. A glider is your best bet for quickly reaching these hard-to-access spots, but if you don’t have one, you can always climb and explore on foot.

While mining for Amethyst, be ready to encounter other valuable resources. Coal is especially common in these areas, which is useful for crafting steel and other materials, so be sure to gather some while you’re there. And don’t forget – Amethyst stacks in quantities of 50, so make sure you have enough inventory space before you go on a mining spree.

How to Get Ice in Enshrouded

You can find plenty of ice near the frozen river beneath the tower, close to the Albaneve Summit Fast Travel point. Once you land, use your pickaxe to break through the ice and collect it. Ice is a valuable resource for crafting and preservation tasks throughout the game.

How to Get Snow in Enshrouded

From the Albaneve Summit Fast Travel point, glide toward the snow-covered mountains in the distance. Once you land, use your pickaxe to gather Snow from the mountaintops. Snow can be found in any high, snowy area, so collecting it is simple.
