In Borderlands 4, you will come across Electroshock Therapy quest, where you team up with Professor Ambreleigh, who’s trying to invent a cure for Ripper madness. She needs your help gathering some unusual materials to power her machine. In this guide, we will walk you through each step so you can complete it with ease.
Electroshock Therapy Quest
Electroshock Therapy is a side mission in Borderlands 4. You can start it by talking to Professor Ambreleigh. She’s located just east of the Someday Rise Safehouse. Ambreleigh is working on a device that might cure Ripper madness, but she needs your help to collect a few parts.
Gathering the Ordonite Sample
Your first task is to find an Ordonite sample. Head over to the Order compound located right across the street from Ambreleigh’s garage. Defeat all the enemies inside. Then, look around for two silos with yellow pipes attached. The sample will be on the crates between the pipes.
Finding the Eridium Sample
Next, you will need to collect an Eridium sample. Go to the spot marked on your map and clear out the Rippers there. Look for a large Eridium crystal growing on a machine near some crop rows. You may need to shoot the crystal to get the sample. This won’t add to your regular Eridium count.
Bring the Samples Back to Ambreleigh
Once you have both samples, return to Ambreleigh and attach them to her machine. Just when you’re about to start it up, she will tell you something’s still missing, a Meathead’s head.
Getting the Meathead’s Head
A Meathead spawns right near the bar outside her house. Go there, take it down, and collect its head. Bring it back and connect it to the machine.
Finishing the Experiment
Once the head is hooked up, it will start talking. To complete the setup, you need to hit it with a melee attack. Follow Ambreleigh’s instructions to complete the quest. Now her machine will come to life on the test subject. As a reward for completing the quest, you will get money and XP.
