Like all multiplayer video game servers, the DayZ server can also be down. This usually occurs when the devs have taken the server down to roll out a hotfix or an update. Are the DayZ Servers Down
DayZ server will be taken down for maintenance for both Console and PC on 03 July. The downtime will last an hour for both platforms starting at 13:00 CEST for PC and 14:00 CEST for console.

Fix DayZ Server Errors
If the server is not down and there are a few isolated cases of issues with the server, then, unfortunately, the problem may be on your end and you will need to fix the issue. Here are some fixes that you can try.
- Test Network Speed and Statistics on Xbox
- Test Internet Connection on PlayStation & Switch
- Update the GPU drivers and reboot the PC
- Do not use a VPN
- Try using a mobile hotspot or another ISP internet
- Ensure you are not using any proxy server (go to LAN settings > Connections.)
- Reset the modem/router
- Update the OS and the Optional Updates.
