The Callous Harbinger of Annihilating Death is a hidden boss in the Craven’s Nook Order Bunker in the Terminus Range. This encounter is optional but extremely beneficial, as Harbinger has a chance to drop some great legendary weaponry.
Getting to the bunker involves completing the main quest “One Fell Swoop” and entering the Heart of the Mountain cave. After grappling up to a platform, go left to the bunker entrance. Before you enter, check the ledge below the left cliff for a Locust station to make return trips easier.
Inside, open the vent on the left wall, crawl through, and continue upward by climbing the elevator shaft and grappling to the top platform. This path leads directly to the boss arena, where the Harbinger will be waiting.
How to Beat the Harbinger
The boss comes with both Shield and Armor bars, so bring Shock weapons to strip shields and Corrosive or Cryo weapons to melt through armor. The fight itself has two main mechanics to watch for:
- Seismic Slam: The Harbinger periodically slams the ground, sending out a wave of energy. Time your jump to leap over it.
