In FNAF: Secret of the Mimic (SOTM), you will come across a task where you need to collect recycling cubes and throw them into trash chutes. Once you have thrown enough cubes into the chutes, you will need to deal with a clogged system and escape from Nurse Dollie. This guide will walk you through each step.
Collect and dump recycling cubes into trash chutes
The recycling cubes won’t always be in the same spot; they show up in different places for each player. But the trash compactors are always in fixed locations. You can find cubes in two ways: sometimes they are just lying around, easy to spot. Other times, you will need to use a trash compactor. When you find one, pull the lever on the side. It will crush the trash inside, and after a few seconds, a recycling cube will pop out from the middle.
Pick up the trash cube from the upgrade room and throw it into the chute just outside the door. You will also find a box of wind-up squirrels nearby; feel free to use them to distract enemies if needed. Keep collecting all the trash cubes you find on this side of the hospital and toss them into the closest chute. After you have thrown in enough, you will hear a loud beep.
Head back to the central area. The control panel there will now show “Chute Full.” Press the button. But now comes the tricky part: you will need to unclog the chute manually. The nearby Maintenance door will be open now. Go through it and head down the stairs to reach the conveyor belt section. You will see several levers on both sides. The moment you get to the first lever, Nurse Dollie will drop down and start chasing you up the belt.
As you move forward, pull each lever to dump trash onto the belt, this will slow her down or make her stumble. Keep doing this until you reach the front, where you will find a button on the wall. Hit it to send her into the furnace.
