The Bloodedge Demon in Nioh 3 is one of the game’s trickiest bosses. This guide covers how you can locate a spawn point, find spirits to help point you in the right direction, and correctly summon this demon after arriving at the marked area.
How to Locate the Bloodedge Demon
You will find some bloody graves, marked on the map with red swords stuck into the ground, when you travel around on the world map. If you go to one of these graves and interact with it, an AI-controlled version of the last player who died nearby will appear. Defeating the player is one of the ways that help in summoning the Bloodedge Demon.
After resting at a shrine, a message may appear saying that a Bloodedge Demon has been spawned in the vicinity. The best way to find out where the Bloodedge Demon is going to go is to eliminate any hostile spirits you may encounter along the way. When these spirits are killed, they will create a burst of red sparks flying in the direction of the Bloodedge Demon. Additionally, if you check your map after defeating a Revenant you will see a small red arrow pointing towards the location of the Bloodedge Demon spawn point. You must follow this red arrow to locate the Bloodedge Demon.
Once the Bloodedge Demon’s location is tracked, it will not appear to you immediately as an enemy. Instead, there will be several glowing purple crystals in the area where you find the Bloodedge Demon. If you hold down on the R1 button and interact with the purple crystals, the Bloodedge Demon will finally spawn.
