The Blood Harvester schematic is a valuable crafting blueprint for one of Gothic 1 Remake’s powerful two handed axes and collecting it can give you an edge against enemies as you progress to deeper areas in the Valley. This guide explains where the schematic can be found, what prerequisites are needed, the lockpick combination of the chest that holds the schematic and what to expect when attempting to obtain it.
Schematic Location
The Blood Harvester schematic is located inside the Monastery Ruins and you must progress the story up to Chapter 3 before attempting to obtain the schematic as this location is part of the main storyline. Head to the above marked location shown on the map to reach the Monastery Ruins.
Hidden Cave
Head inside the ruins and go through the doorway that is shown in the above image which is to the right of ruins. Follow the path through the doorway to reach the above level.
After reaching the above level, follow the corridor and you’ll come across a cave entrance on the hill at the end of the corridor, enter the cave.
Chest Location
When you enter the cave you’ll see two routes ahead, take the right passage. Follow it deeper into the tunnel and it will directly lead to the chest.
Chest Lockpick Combination
Follow the below given lockpick combination to unlock the chest without breaking any lockpicks and collect the rewards-
- Move the 3rd plate to the right 4 times.
- Then move the 5th plate to the right 5 times.
- Now select and move the 2nd plate to the right 3 times.
- Then again move the 3rd plate to the right 2 times.
- And finally move the 6th plate to the right 2 times.
Rewards
When you unlock the chest you’ll find these items – the Blood Harvester schematic, heating potions, ore nuggets, a lockpick and a bundle of arrows.
However, to craft the Blood Harvester you’re going to need Two-Handed smithing skills and to wield the weapon you’re going to need 55 strength and it deals 65 damage.
