Augur Raid Guide for Typhoon Trophy / Achievement

A massive, space-like sphere will suddenly appear on the map; that’s your sign that the Augur Raid has begun. To find it, just head toward the giant sphere that shows up in the area. Defeat the Augur inside, and you’ll earn the Undying Fate passive. This special ability not only boosts your survivability but also lets you recover FP whenever you use a Flask.

How to Beat Augur

You need to take on Augur around Level 12. Augur is weak to Lightning damage, so bring your best Lightning-based attacks. Hitting him repeatedly with Lightning can stagger him, giving you the perfect opening for critical hits and a few extra blows. He floats and moves around a lot, which makes melee combat tricky. That’s why we recommend bringing Ironeye for this Expedition, he can deal damage from a distance, making things a lot easier.

Watch out for Sleep-inducing spells. Augur can put you to Sleep with magic, especially when he curls into a ball and charges up for a big explosion. To avoid this, try to get the All Resistances Up Dormant Power, which boosts your resistance to Sleep and other ailments. When he’s charging up that explosive move, it’s crucial to interrupt him using your Ultimate Arts. Everyone should save their Ultimates specifically for this moment.

Later in the fight, Augur will summon tentacles that strike nearby players. Be alert while attacking so you don’t get caught off guard. He can also drop from the sky, causing a powerful explosion that puts players to Sleep. You can either shoot him before he lands to stop the blast or run away to avoid the damage.

Finally, Augur will send out jellyfish that explode on contact, and he also has a spinning slam attack that sends out a shockwave. Stay mobile, dodge the jellyfish, and avoid the ground slam to keep yourself in the fight.
