Attune the Points of Power BO6 Citadelle

In this very challenging Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Easter Egg, players play a suspenseful quest to recreate ancient power in the spooky Citadelle Des Morts. A quest begins with searching for four cryptic pages spread across the grounds within the castle, bearing oppressive red-eyed drawings. These pages unlock the secrets of the Codex, an ancient book that reveals the crucial order to activate four powerful Points of Power. Activating these Points of Power in the correct sequence will unlock a hidden pathway and lead players deeper into the mysteries of the undead-infested castle.

How to Start the Attune the Points of Power

The first thing you need to do is to find four torn pieces of paper. You’ll find these pages on the west side of the castle, in the room where the machine that gives you extra speed (Stamin-Up) is located. These pages have spooky red-eyed drawings on them, so they’re pretty easy to spot. However, sometimes they might be hidden on a bed or inside a box, so make sure to look carefully around the room. Here are some of the places they might be hiding:

  • On the bunk beds
  • On the ground near some boxes (look for a skull drawing on the wall nearby)
  • On top of the boxes
  • On the wall next to the rope
  • On top of the TVs
  • In the corner of a wall near the entrance to the lab
  • On the wall near one of the doors
  • On the desk near some bunk beds
  • On the couch
  • On a small table
  • On the wall with a vase

Remember, only four pieces will actually be in the room during each game, so you’ll need to search carefully!

The location of these pages changes each time you play, so you might have to search around a bit to find all four. Once you’ve collected all the pieces, you can move on to the next part of the easter egg! After players find all four pieces of the ancient book (the Codex) in the Undercroft, they’ll need to use it to figure out the correct order to activate special places called ‘Points of Power’

How to Attune the Points of Power

To power up the special places (Points of Power) in Citadelle Des Morts, players have to complete a dangerous challenge at each one. They’ll need to activate four traps and defeat ten zombies at every trap. The game will show them where to find these traps on the map, but the order they need to power them up in is a bit of a mystery and needs to be figured out using the clues in the Codex.

To find the correct order to power up the special places (Points of Power), players need to check the newly repaired book (the Codex) in the Undercroft. There, they’ll see four special symbols, each one linked to a dangerous trap.

The order to activate these traps is:

  1. Top left symbol
  2. Bottom left symbol
  3. Top right symbol
  4. Bottom right symbol

Next, players must go to each trap, make sure the symbol matches the order in the Codex, and then activate it. This costs 1,600 special points (Essence) and requires them to defeat ten zombies nearby. Once they do this, the trap will light up red, showing it’s been activated. After that, they move on to the next trap and repeat the process until all four are activated.

It’s important to only activate a trap when there are enough zombies around to defeat, as the trap will only stay active for a short time. Here are the locations of the special places (Points of Power):

  • Oubliette Room
  • Dungeon
  • Sitting Rooms
  • Hilltop
  • Courtyard
  • Village Ascent

Once players have activated all four Points of Power in the correct order, a red orb will appear from the last trap. This orb will guide them to the secret entrance (Undercroft Stairway), completing this part of the challenge.

To know which trap to activate next, look for the ones with a faint outline around them that matches the symbols on the pages you found in the book. To check if you’ve activated the correct trap, go back to the book in the Undercroft. If you did it right, the symbol will no longer look red.

Important: Ignore any traps that have an outline around everything. These traps don’t count towards completing the book, and activating them will only waste your money. It won’t hurt anything, but you’ll lose some of your in-game points.
