Ascension Gauge is a key component of progress in AION 2. It needs to be filled up to 100% in order to be able to proceed with your Ascension. However, there are a number of options that allow for its growth. In this guide, we’ll explain how the Ascension Gauge works and what you can do to fill it faster.
How To Fill the Ascension Gauge
In AION 2, one needs to have his or her Ascension Gauge filled up to 100 percent before moving forward with the process of ascension. There are various options available to make this gauge full; however, they might not be easy to understand from the very beginning.
Upon selecting the Ascension Quest, you will notice that you are able to make the gauge full by accomplishing Episode Quests, Regional Quests, Ascension Quests, Sealed Dungeons, and Strongholds. The best thing to do at the beginning is accomplish your Episode Quests because they are your main questline.
Complete Regional Quests
When you have done most of the Episode Quests, you can now try your hand at Regional Quests to finish the rest of the percentages. Open your Journal with the J key, and click on the Regional tab where there will be lots of quests for you to complete, but don’t forget to inspect each quest first to know the rewards you’ll get from doing it.
Regional Quests can actually provide good rewards, including a Cube Expansion Voucher, so these quests are not only important in relation to the Ascension Gauge progress. Remember that you will not be able to perform Ascension Quests while your Ascension Gauge is still being filled up to 100%.
Complete Sealed Dungeons
Another way to earn progress on your Ascension Gauge is through Sealed Dungeons. These are mini-dungeons that can be done solo and are available all across the map. Sealed Dungeons are represented by a question mark (?) on the map. Once you have beaten the enemies and the boss inside the dungeon, you will earn progress towards your Ascension Gauge. If you haven’t unlocked one of the Sealed Dungeons yet, the area might appear as an undiscovered point of interest on your map.
Complete Strongholds
Strongholds are another form of gameplay that will help increase your Ascension Gauge. Similar to Sealed Dungeons, these are also found on the map through locations with a question mark (?). If you have not yet found a Stronghold, it will be an undiscovered location until you discover it. You will also find Field Bosses in some of these locations; however, these come into play later on in the game.
