Mastering your character’s abilities will help you survive the dangerous world filled with Yokai. Secret Skills Texts are special items that give you new skills when you pray at a Shrine. Once you obtain these skills, you can manage and equip them in the Skill Management tab. Mastering these skills is essential to surviving and thriving in the game. All Secret Skills Texts locations in Nioh 3
The Enduring Arts Secret Skills Text in Nioh 3 lets you unlock the Enduring Arts skill. Secret Skills Texts are items that give you new skills, which you can learn by praying at a Shrine. You will usually find them while travelling through different areas, opening chests, or checking corpses. Once you get them, you can manage and equip these skills through the Skill Management menu.
Advantageous Deflect
You can find this skill in Hamamatsu. While doing the Crucible Manifested main quest, enter the house on the second floor just before the ladder. Drop down inside, and you will see a chest. Open it to get the Secret Skills Text.
Aerial Mastery
You can find this skill text in Iinoya. Head to the castle and go up to the third floor, where you will find a large chest. Open it to get the item.
Aerial Strike
You can find this skill text in Hamamatsu. It’s on a corpse lying at the edge of a cliff. To get there, cross the Spirit Vein near the corner of the east
Amplification
You get this skill text as a reward for completing the sub-mission “The Way of Onmyo: Veteran”, which you can access through the Battle Scroll.
Armor Piercer
You can find this skill text at the Tenryu River. Go to the eastern part of the Hamamatsu Settlement and open the locked house there. To unlock it, you will need the Dirty Key, which you can get from a Yokai in the middle of the settlement. Inside the house, open the treasure chest to get the item.
Artifact Defense
You can find this skill text at Nijo Castle. Look for a broken-down house inside the enemy base, and you will find the item there.
Artifact Tenacity
You can find this in Sagano. Defeat the Mujina inside a locked house to get it. The house can only be opened using a Tarnished Iron Key.
Arts Proficiency Life Siphon
You can find this skill text at Nijo Castle. Look in the western area, there’s a large boulder across from a Kodama. Climb up to the top, and you will find the item on a corpse there.
Ascension
You can get this skill text in Funaokayama by trading Yokai Teardrops with a Sudama. The Sudama merchant is located next to a shrine on a cliff in the frozen ghost town.
Attack Mastery I
You can find this skill text in Hamamatsu. It’s inside the treasure chest of the largest house on the left side of the path in Hamamatsu Post. The front door is locked, so to get in, go to the second floor of the house behind it and enter through the window.
Attack Mastery II
You can find this skill text in Iinoya. It’s in a large chest inside a small shed in the middle of an enemy base. To get inside, climb through the hole in the roof.
Awakening
You get this skill text as a reward for completing the sub-mission “The Way of Onmyo: Novice”, which you can start from the Battle Scroll.
Backstab Life Siphon
You can find this skill text in Maisaka. It’s inside a small cave next to a little stone shrine, but be careful, it’s guarded by a Nure-onna.
Battle Frenzy Kata
You can find this skill text in Hachijo. Inside an enemy base at Rajomon, look for a small chest next to some barrels and crates to get it.
Bewildering Mist
You can find this skill text in Mibu. It’s in a large chest located under the shrine at Mibu Temple.
Blade-Breaking Deflect
You can find this skill text in Maisaka. Defeat the Mujima in the Haunting Caves; it’s hiding in a corner that overlooks the area.
Butterfly’s Grace
You can find this skill text on Mount Kurama. It’s in a large chest inside a house that’s guarded by a Mikoshi Nyudo.
Concentrated Mist
You can find this skill text in the Kyoto Imperial Palace. It’s inside a large chest in a broken-down house next to a gate.
Counteroffensive Deflect
You can get this skill text in Shichijo by trading Yokai Teardrops with a Sudama. The Sudama merchant is located on a cliff in the northeast, next to a Six Jizo and a shrine.
Counteroffensive Evade
You can find this skill text in Nishiichi. Look for a corpse on top of the middle sunken roof in the central area to get it.
Deadly Eye
You can find this skill text at the Tenryu River. It’s in a large chest inside a cave behind the Spirit Vein boulder. To get into the cave, you will need the Guardian Spirit Kongojishi.
Defense Mastery I
You can find this skill text in Maisaka. After clearing an enemy base, defeat the Crucible Wraith Yamainu inside a house, then open the large chest next to Honda Tadakatsu to get it.
Defense Mastery II
You can find this skill text in Iinoya. It’s in a large chest on the right side of the dojo’s outer walkway in the central area.
Deflection Expert
You can get this skill text in the Eternal Rift. It’s inside a large chest hidden beneath the blacksmith’s building. To reach it, climb down from the building’s corner, use the Spirit Guardian Kongojishi (Samurai or Ninja) to break a Spirit Vein, then drop onto a ledge on the left. From there, jump down to the next ledge, and you will find the chest.
Destructive Arts
You can find this skill text in the Palace Grounds. Look for a corpse near the Bodhisattva Statue inside the Palace Grounds Crucible to get it.
Dodging
You can find this skill text in Maisaka. It’s in a large chest inside the Haunting Caves, but watch out, it’s guarded by a Crucible Wraith Dweller.
Double-Edged Arts
You can get this skill text on Futamata Road by trading Yokai Teardrops with a Sudama. The Sudama merchant is inside a cave that you reach by climbing the rocks and wooden platform outside.
Dread Bringer I
You can find this skill text in Sagano. It’s in a large chest on the scaffolding under the bridge, where you have to fight the Onryoki.
Dread Bringer II
You can get this skill text at Awawa no Tsuji as a reward for completing the Myth: Shadows on the Capital.
Enduring Arts
You can find this skill text in Sagano. It’s in a large chest hidden behind ice shards inside a cave that leads to the main hall of Matsuo-taisha Shrine.
Enduring Burst
You can get this skill text in Maisaka by trading Yokai Teardrops with a Sudama. The Sudama merchant is located near the Maisaka Junction Shinre.
Enduring Destruction
You can get this skill text in Hamamatsu by trading Yokai Teardrops with a Sudama. The Sudama merchant is located just across from the Hamamatsu Castle Town Shrine.
Enduring Vigor
You can get this skill text in Iinoya by trading Yokai Teardrops with a Sudama. The Sudama merchant is located near the Temple Ruins – Cemetery Shrine.
Evasion Expert
You can find this skill text in Gion. It’s on top of a building in the Midwest. To reach it, use the Guardian Spirit Oh to cross the Spirit Vein and get to the roof.
Expansive Deflect
You can get this skill text in Shirakawa by trading Yokai Teardrops with a Sudama. The Sudama merchant is located next to a shrine in the western part of Shirakawa.
Fatal Fists
You can find this skill text in Mikatagahara. It’s on a corpse resting on a rocky platform near lava. To reach it during the Crucible event of the A Fiery Invasion quest, you will first need to defeat the Jailer Oni.
Favorable Wind
You can find this skill text in Awawa no Tsuji. It’s on a corpse on the roof of a house inside an enemy base. The house is located next to a snow-covered mountain.
Flexibility
You can find this skill text in Kiyomizu. Go to the western area and use Shami-Choro to cross a Spirit Vein, then open the large chest inside a small cabin to get it.
Fortitude I
You can find this skill text in Hamamatsu. It’s on a corpse resting on a ledge. To reach it, drop down from the Hamamatsu Bridge and head to the corner, then use a Spirit Vein to climb up. At the top, go to the left cliff to find the corpse. You will need the Guardian Spirit Kurama Tengu to get there.
Fortitude II
You can find this skill text at Lake Hamana. It’s on a corpse near a ledge in the middle-south part of the lake. To reach the ledge, use the Guardian Spirit Kongojishi to break a Spirit Vein boulder.
Full Moon Kata
You can find this skill text in Kiyomizu. It’s on a corpse tucked in a corner off the main road in northern Kiyomizu. Be careful, it’s guarded by a Shunobon and a Thorned Gaki.
Headwind Blaze
You can find this skill text in Shirakawa. After clearing a Lesser Crucible, open the large chest in front of a house in the western part of Shirakawa to get it.
Healer
You can find this skill text in Shichijo. It’s in a large chest guarded by a Jailer Oni in the southern part of the area. To reach it, start from a nearby shrine and keep dropping down using the Guardian Spirit Oh. At the bottom, you will find a wooden platform with the chest and the Jailer Oni.
Hollow Form
You can find this skill text in Hamamatsu Hill. It’s on a stone shrine hidden under a large tree inside an enemy base in the southwest part of the area.
Illusory Dragon
You can find this skill text in Mikatagahara. Defeat the Mujina next to a broken-down shed by a ladder on a cliff in the southern part of the area to get it.
Indomitable Spirit
You can find this skill text at Lake Hamana. It’s in a large chest inside a burnt house across from a Tori gate, next to a stone pedestal.
Invigorating Arts
You can get this skill text in Mikatagahara by trading Yokai Teardrops with a Sudama. To reach the Sudama merchant, use Enko to cross the Spirit Vein in front of them.
Ki Pulse Mastery
You can find this skill text in Edo Castle. Use the Guardian Spirit Oh to drop down, then head outside. In the corner, you will find a large chest next to a hot spring.
Ki Pulse: Earth
You can find this skill text in Nishiichi. It’s in a large chest on a platform across from the Driftwood Fortress Shrine.
