Pyroxene is a very important resource in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Here is an overview of all locations where Pyroxene can be found and how to farm it best. From the Ji Province in Chapter 1 to multiple spawn points across Ji, You, and Qing provinces in later chapters, you will discover efficient ways to gather Pyroxene within seconds. Besides farming, Pyroxene can also be gained by levelling up province Peace, collecting Old Coins, completing missions, and participating in skirmishes. Using this resource, you can go to an Inn and craft unique gems with game-changing effects that will take your combat to a whole new level.
All Pyroxene Locations
The Ji Province is the ideal location for farming Pyroxene. In Chapter 1, you can refresh the spawn points by travelling along the Liyang Port-Cangting Port route (moving between provinces refreshes the Pyroxene spots). In Chapter 2, you’ll also find Pyroxene spawns in You Province. From Chapter 3 onward, you will be able to collect Pyroxene from Ji, You, and Qing provinces, allowing you to gather a total of 4 Pyroxene every 10-15 seconds.

In Dynasty Warriors: Origins, farming Pyroxene from world map spawns isn’t the only way to acquire it. You can also earn Pyroxene by levelling up your province Peace (+5 Pyroxene per level), collecting Old Coins, completing letters, participating in skirmishes (non-story battles), and completing certain missions.
Gem Crafting in Dynasty Warriors Origins
To use Pyroxene in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, head to an Inn, found in towns or camps. From there, select Create Gems and choose how much Pyroxene you want to use. Then, click on the Pyroxene section to create the gems. There are five possible gems you can obtain, and the selection is random. If you receive a duplicate gem, its level will automatically be upgraded. Here’s a list of all the gems and their effects.
Gems in Dynasty Warriors: Origins come with many unique effects that can enhance gameplay. The Oblivion Gem increases the percentage of your attack range, the Vortex Gem increases damage against enemies thrown into the air, and the Scorch Gem increases damage taken by enemies after a successful parry.
With the Wellspring Gem, you regain health after killing 100 enemies, and the Ascendance Gem gives you a chance to automatically block attacks from enemy officers. The effect of each gem depends on its level, so they are worth including in your collection.
Tips
- Focus on Ji Province in Chapter 1, using the Liyang Port-Cangting Port route to refresh spawns. From Chapter 2, include You Province spawns in your route. By Chapter 3, farm Ji, You, and Qing provinces for up to 4 Pyroxene every 10–15 seconds.
- Travelling between provinces resets Pyroxene spots, so plan routes that cover multiple locations efficiently.
- In addition to farming, gain Pyroxene by levelling up province Peace, collecting Old Coins, completing letters, participating in skirmishes, and finishing specific missions.
- Visit an Inn in any town or camp to convert Pyroxene into gems. Since the selection is random, duplicates upgrade gem levels, enhancing their effects.
- Save Pyroxene for crafting when you’re ready to focus on upgrading specific gems. Keep in mind that higher-level gems yield better effects.
- Provinces like Ji, You, and Qing have frequent respawn rates. Regularly revisit these areas for consistent Pyroxene farming.
