In ARC Raiders, keys are super useful items that help you unlock special rooms, buildings, or bunkers across different areas like The Dam, Spaceport, Buried City, and Blue Gate. These locked places usually have good loot, materials, or quest items inside. You can find most keys by searching drawers, cabinets, and containers in places like the Ruby Residence or the Research & Administration building. Some keys can also be earned by finishing certain quests. In this guide, you will find all the key locations and what each one is used for.
All Keys Locations and Use
Some of the best gear in ARC Raiders is locked away behind special doors that can only be opened with keys, but finding those keys isn’t easy. They’re rare drops, and you will need them to unlock rooms or areas that hide valuable loot. Some can be found while exploring, while others might need to be crafted or looted from enemies. Knowing where to find these keys and what they unlock can save you time and help you get rare gear.

Raider Hatch Key

To get a Raider Hatch Key in ARC Raiders, you’ve got two main options: you can either buy one or craft it yourself. If you’d rather buy it, head over to Shani, the security trader in Speranza. She sells Raider Hatch Keys for 9,000 Coins. It’s the faster route if you’ve got the cash to spare.
If you want to craft the key instead, you will first need to set up a Utility Workbench in your workshop. It takes some Arc Alloys to build, but it’s worth having since you can craft all sorts of useful gear there before a mission. You will also get the Raider Hatcher Key in the Hatch Repairs, Mixed Signals, Our Presence Up There and the Trifecta quests.
Once your workbench is installed, you will be able to craft a Raider Hatch Key. Just make sure you’ve got 1 Advanced Electrical Component and 3 Sensors on hand. Keep in mind, though, that you will need to upgrade your Utility Workbench to Level 2 before you can craft certain items, including the Raider Hatch Key.

The Raider Hatch Key opens one of the hidden Raider Hatches scattered around the map. These hatches serve as quick extraction points, letting you escape fast when things get too dangerous.
When you open your map, you’ll see several extraction points marked on it. Some of them, however, have a small down arrow; these are called Raider Hatches. Unlike regular extractions, using a Raider Hatch won’t alert other players around you, making it a much safer way to leave the mission.
To use one, just walk up to the hatch and interact with it while carrying a Raider Hatch Key. Keep in mind that this method gives you slightly less bonus experience compared to using the elevator, and it will also consume one Raider Hatch Key each time you extract this way.

The Dam Surveillance Key is dropped at random but can usually be found in cabinets and drawers in residential-type buildings. Some reliable spots are the second floor of the Research & Administration building and the Ruby Residence building in Dam Battlegrounds.
