In Ghost of Yotei, Hot Springs aren’t just a relaxing break; they also increase your maximum health. Scattered across different regions, each Hot Spring gives you a small health upgrade that really adds up over time. Some are easy to find, while others take a bit of climbing or exploration. This guide shows you where to find every Hot Spring in the game, region by region, so you can boost your health to the max.
All Hot Spring Locations
You will find Hot Springs across different regions like Yotei Grasslands, Ishikari Plain, Tokachi Range, Nayoro Wilds, Teshio Ridge, and Oshima Coast. Some are available from the start, while others unlock as you progress through main story missions. Here’s where you can find all the Hot Springs in Ghost of Yotei to upgrade your health.
Yotei Grasslands
Yotei Grasslands is the first area you will enter after finishing the Prologue.
Near Kuttara Gambling Den



Go southeast from the Kuttara Gambling Den. Head to the hill toward the shore. On your left, you will see a big flat rock. Climb the rocks to reach the mountain top. You will find the Horizon View Hot Spring on top.
Mountain Top (North Climb)



This one is high up on a mountain. Start climbing from the northern side to reach the mountain top. Here, you will find another hill. Again, climb up to reach the top. Once at the top, move forward to reach the Wild Clearing Hot Spring.
West Yotei Grasslands

You will find this Hot Spring on the western side of the Yotei Grasslands. Reach the location marked on the map above. Here you will find a grassland with red flowers. Move forward to find the hot spring.
Near Golden Foothills (Cliffside)



Reach the location marked on the map above. Here, you will find a mountain near the waterfall. Climb up the mountain, near the Golden Foothills. At the top of the mountain, you will find the Hidden Cliff Hot Spring.
Ishikari Plain
You will unlock Ishikari Plain after you complete the Main Tale called “The Oni.”
Near Golden Foothills (Cliffside)

Reach the location marked on the map above. Here, you will find a mountain near the waterfall. Climb up the mountain, near the Golden Foothills. At the top of the mountain, you will find the Hidden Cliff Hot Spring.
Ishikari Plain
You will unlock Ishikari Plain after you complete the Main Tale called “The Oni.”
Eastern Hill Route (Cliff Climb)

This Hot Spring is on top of a cliff. Once you reach the marked location. Walk around the hill, to reach the cliff. Here, you will find some tree branches. Use them to climb up. Once you reach the top, you will find the Bear Rock Hot Spring.
Urara Forest Area


Reach the location marked on the map above. Here you will find the Urara Forest. Inside the Urara forest, you’ll find this hot spring.
Another Cliffside Spring


This Hot Spring is on a cliff. Reach the above marked location. Here, you will find a mountain. Climb up the mountain to reach the top. At the top of the mountain, you will find the Smoky Mountains Hot Spring.
Northern Ishikari Plain





Go to the northern part of the Ishikari Plain. Here, you need to climb up the cliff. Use the tree branches to reach the top. At the top, you will find the Cloud View Hot Spring.
Tokachi Range
You can access the Tokachi Range right from the beginning. Just head to Yotei Grasslands and follow the river going northeast.
Tokachi Range (Southeast)

Go to the marked location in the southeastern corner of the Tokachi Range. Here, you will find the Quiet Valley hot spring.
East of Nupur River

Head to the location marked on the map above, towards the east from the Nupur River. The Grassy Fields Hot Spring is in the eastern part of the area.
Nayoro Wilds
You can reach Nayoro Wilds right from the beginning. From the Tokachi Range, keep going all the way north until you find the Great Lake. On the lake’s shore, you will see a woman standing at a spot that later shows up on the map as “Central Ferry.” Talk to her and agree to take the boat, and she will take you across the lake to Nayoro Wilds.
Iwora Mountain (With a Cave Path)




Go to the northern part of Iwora Mountain and start climbing from the east. Once you climb up, you will find a cave. Go inside the cave and take left to reach a small hill. Climb up and reach the end of the cave. Now exit the cave. Here, you will find the Cave Path Hot Spring at the top.
Teshio Ridge
Teshio Ridge becomes available after you complete the Main Tale called “The Kitsune.”
Red Crane Inn (Bathhouse Style)



In the Red Crane Inn area, go to the building on the far left. Talk to the woman inside and she will offer you to take a bath inside. You need to pay 200 coins to enter the Hot Spring.
Crimson Forest (Teshio Ridge)




You will find this one on the west side of the Crimson Forest in Teshio Ridge. Reach the marked location. Go down the cliff to find another mountain, just near the fire. Climb up the mountain to reach the Snow Drift Springs Shrine.
Hakodake Mountains (Northwest Mountain Top)



Climb up the mountain in the northwest part of the Hakodake Mountains. Use the tree branches to reach the top. Here, you will find the Valley View Hot Spring at the top.
Oshima Coast
You will unlock Oshima Coast after finishing the Main Tale called “The Saito Brothers.”
Sojin Hills (South Cliff)



Reach the location marked on the map above. Climb to the top of the cliff in the southern part of Sojin Hills. At the top, you will find the Cliff View Hot Spring.
Northeast of Tokuyama Hills



Head northeast from Tokuyama Hills and start climbing the cliff ledges to reach the the top. Here you need to get through some narrow passages to enter the area. Reach the top of the cliff to find the Distant Castle Hot Spring.
