In Nioh 3, if your goal is to achieve the Total Control trophy, then you’ll need to find all the Enemy Bases located in the different regions of the game. Many of the bases are tied to specific quests that you’ll need to complete. This guide outlines every detail you need to know for locating all the Enemy Bases with efficiency and without any hassle in the game.
All Enemy Base Locations
In Nioh 3, there are a total of 26 Enemy Bases, and finding them all gets you the Total Control trophy achievement. Usually, these bases contain chests filled with rewards for the players. Here’s an easy breakdown of all the locations you’ll need to cover to achieve the Total Control trophy.
Tenryu River
There are two Enemy Bases in the Tenryu River region:
Enemy Base 1


For the first Enemy Base found in the Tenryu River region, you will need to defeat five enemies in the area. This Enemy Base isn’t packed with dangerous foes, and it’s quite easy to deal with the five enemies here.
Enemy Base 2


To get to the second Enemy Base, you’ll need to go to the area near Hojo Shrine. You’ll come across a set of stairs, climb them to reach the Enemy Base, and defeat all the enemies there. There are eleven enemies that you’ll need to defeat.
Tokaido
There are two Enemy Bases in the Tokaido region:

To get to the first Enemy Base of the Tokaido region, you’ll need to head towards the eastern part of the region. The area is filled with downtrodden structures, and there are seven enemies that you’ll need to defeat.
Enemy Base 4



To get to the second Enemy Base, you’ll need to head over to the area near Cape Cavern. Start from the shrine and go left toward the cave entrance. Inside the cave, follow the straight path, and you’ll reach an open area where you’ll need to defeat six enemies.
Maisaka
There is only one Enemy Base in the Maisaka region:

To get to this Enemy Base, you’ll need to head towards the Maisaka Post. This base is actually tied to the Abundant Evil quest, and you’ll need to defeat the yokai here by teaming up with Honda Tadakatsu. At the entrance of the Dark Realm, you will find Honda Tadakatsu. Speak with him and then go inside. You’ll need to defeat ten enemies here to complete the objective.
Lake Sanaru
There is only one Enemy Base in the Lake Sanaru region:

This Enemy Base is pretty easy to get to. Simply head to the marked location, and you’ll see that you’ve arrived at a gate that leads to the lake. There are thirteen enemies in this location who’ll need to be defeated.
Mikatagahara
There is only one Enemy Base in the Mikatagahara region:

This Enemy Base is located northwest of Saigagake in the Dark Realm. Reaching it isn’t tricky, and you’ll have to defeat six enemies that’ll be lurking in the area.
Hamamatsu Hill
There are two Enemy Bases in the Hamamatsu Hill region:

To get to the first Enemy Base of the Hamamatsu region, go to the marked location, and you’ll find yourself in front of a set of stairs that lead you to an area with a huge tree and houses. You’ll find seven enemies in this area who’ll need to be defeated.
Enemy Base 9


The second Enemy Base is located in the Hamamatsu Castle Keep and is part of the Li’s Memento side quest, which unlocks right after you complete the Fated Land quest. This objective gets automatically completed once you finish Li’s Memento. Once you go to the castle, talk with Li near the shrine, and she will give you the Mountain Temple Key.


Your objective will be to travel to the temple in Mikatagahara Junction and defeat the yokai and five enemies there. Use the Mountain Temple Key to open the temple’s gate, reach the Dark Realm, and defeat all the enemies.
Linoya
There is only one Enemy Base in the Linoya region:

The Enemy Base in the Linoya region is located towards the southwest part of the region. You’ll find yourself in front of the base’s gate, and upon entering, you’ll see that there is a house on the right side with a stone path leading to its entrance. You’ll need to defeat eleven enemies here in order to clear the area.
Futamata Road
There is only one Enemy Base in the Futamata Road area:

To get to this Enemy Base, you’ll need to travel to the Juji Fortress (East) (Locked). The base is filled with a good amount of resources, and you’ll need to defeat six enemies to capture the base.
Funaokayama
There are two Enemy Bases in the Funaokayama region:

To get to this Enemy Base, you’ll need to go to the Nurikabe area. When you reach the marked location, go down the snowy mountains and follow the path to your left until you reach a house. Go inside, and you’ll see that there is a wall from which you’ll need to remove the Talisman. Doing this will reveal the Enemy Base, where you’ll have to defeat six enemies.
Enemy Base 13


To get to this Enemy Base, you’ll need to complete the Shadows on the Capital side quest, for which you need to start from the Awawa no Tsuji region. Talk with the spirit at the entrance of the village, and he will ask for help in exchange for Onmyo mages.


Then, head to the marked location in the Funaokayama region, and defeat the six enemies in the Dark Realm to complete the objective.
Sagano
There is only one Enemy Base in the Sagano region:

For locating this Enemy Base, you’ll need to head towards the southeast part of the region. You’ll find yourself in an area filled with icy spikes and shards all around. There are six enemies in total, and you’ll need to be a little careful because the enemies here will throw ice blocks at you.
Nishiichi
There is only one Enemy Base in the Nishiichi region:

To get to this Enemy Base, head over to the marked location, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by broken wooden planks, logs, and structures. The area is in a mess, and you’ll need to defeat eight enemies to capture the base.
Awawa no Tsuji
There is only one Enemy Base in Awawa no Tsuji region:

To get to this Enemy Base, you’ll need to go to the northeastern part of the region. There you’ll find a cluster of houses with a tornado of sorts in the middle of the area, and the enemies lurking mostly on the rooftops. There are seven enemies in the area that you’ll need to defeat to capture the base.
Hachijo
There is only one Enemy Base in the Hachijo region:

To get to this Enemy Base, you’ll need to head to the northern part of the region. Once you’re at the marked location, go past the gate, and you’ll find dainty wooden structures all around. You’ll need to defeat seven enemies in this area to capture the base.
Shichijo
There is only one Enemy Base in the Shichijo region:

To get to this Enemy Base, head over to the marked location, and you’ll come across a huge gate. Go inside and you’ll find wooden structures and crates. You’ll need to defeat eight enemies to capture the base.
Shijo
There are two Enemy Bases in the Shijo region:

To get the first Enemy Base location in the Shijo region, you’ll need to head over to the area southwest of the Honnoji Temple. You’ll find a well, go right from there, and you’ll come across eight enemies who need to be defeated.
Enemy Base 20


To get to the second Enemy Base of the Shijo region, head over to the marked location, and from there, use traverse to reach the Dark Realm. Inside, you’ll need to defeat six enemies to capture the base.
Gion
There is only one Enemy Base in the Gion region:

To get to this Enemy Base, head over to the marked location, and you’ll find yourself in front of huge wooden gates. Beyond the gate, you’ll find broken down house structures along with a few good houses as well. You’ll need to defeat six enemies in this area to complete the objective.
Shirakawa
There are two Enemy Bases in the Shirakawa region:

To find this Enemy Base, you’ll need to head over to the northwestern area of the region. There, you’ll need to defeat six enemies lurking in the Dark Realm to capture the enemy base.
Enemy Base 23


To get to the second Enemy Base of the Shirakawa region, you’ll need to finish the Seeking Spirit Stones side quest in the Shichijo region, and for this you’ll first need to finish the “Beast of the Underworld” battle scroll. Head over to the marked location in the Shichijo region and talk to Thomas Glover.

After you’ve interacted with Thomas, head to the Enemy Base near Yasaka Shrine. You’ll need to defeat six enemies here to capture the base.
Nijo Castle
There is only one Enemy Base in the Nijo Castle:

To get to this Enemy Base, you’ll need to head over to the marked location, and you’ll find yourself in front of a big house’s gate. Use traverse to go to the rooftop of the house and defeat six enemies to capture the base.
Mibu
There is only one Enemy Base in the Mibu region:

To get to this Enemy Base, you’ll need to head to the southeastern area of the Mibu Temple. Start from the Spirit Vein point and use traverse to go to the Enemy Base situated between the rocky mountains. You’ll need to defeat seven enemies to capture the base.
Kyoto Imperial Palace
There is only one Enemy Base in the Kyoto Imperial Palace:

To get to this Enemy Base, you’ll need to head over to the marked location and inside the Dark Realm. Inside, you’ll need to defeat the five enemies and the source of the Yokai to capture the base fully.
